  The room size was great and a very large bathroom. Bathroom and pool towels were huge! Comfortable bed and though close to the airport, wasn't kept awake by the faint noise.   The hotel was clean looked good on the outside and inside. The rooms were clean and it was good to have laminate floors. It was good that there was a pool, workout room and a place to eat. Staff was nice and helpful.   The hotel staff went out of their way to make our visit special. My husband made some requests because we were staying for our 44th anniversary, and the hotel staff went beyond what he requested. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another world. Everyone so helpful and polite. The Elite restaurant was fabulous.   Traveled by myself for a weekend conference. Was perfect for my needs. Close to Pearson International. Big room for 1 person. Casey's was a good restaurant. Nice place to have a drink too. Wi fi was slow but ok. Used it mainly for Facetime with my family. Had trouble connecting at certain times of the day. Cleaning and front desk staff were friend... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ly. Whatever they use to clean the hotel leaves a damn good smell in the halls and room. In general hotel felt a little oldish but not a problem to me - Good price and location near the airport and various restaurants including a very good one with bar, on site. Excellent and friendly staff. Also indoor pool where we had our 4 grand children over for a visit and a swim. Towels provided at the pool. The room, linens, bath and bed were all very good. Very good parking. Will be staying here again on our next trip to the area. Thanks everyone!

  We stayed there because we have a child with a food allergy and I needed to be able to prepare meals. I was very impressed with the items provided in the kitchen: plates, bowls, silverware, serving bowls with lids, minimal cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, skillet, sauce pan, bigger pan, dish cloth and towel. The staff was extreme - To be honest, we didn't check in until later in the evening, so we didn't get a chance to use any of the facilities. But the staff were super courteous and very accomidating. Our room was very comfortable. We were a family of three senior sisters and our very elderly dad (90 yrs). Dad was very impressed with the fact that he had his own bedroom and bath!! It really was lovely. Thank you so much.
