This was an older hotel but it was clean, well maintained, and had a charm about it. The location was wonderful.....could walk any where. The staff was wonderful. Heart describes them best. We were greeted with smiles and helpfulness and they put themselves out for us in some very important ways. My spouse had a disability and I asked for some help. They were there for us instantly and continued to inquire if there was anything they could do further. They were warm and it was real. W.
kaikki arvostelut » The view was spectacular from our room, overlooking the bay. The location is unbeatable in my opinion, right in the little town of Tofino, close to the water. Grocery store, bakery, gallery, wharf, nice restaurant, all within a block. A Saturday public market two blocks away. Amazing. There is a lounge area for preparing food which allows guests to interact if desired and feel connected to the others in the hotel. Location is unbeatable for what we wanted!. - Rooms were great, warm interiors - Good views - Soft beds, very comfortable! - Wifi - Breakfast Room had a fantastic view, fridge for all to share and basic necessities to enjoy meals away from the ultra expensive & carb ridden local restaraunts - Location was super central - Parking close to hotel entries - Staff was AMAZING. Super friendly, super accommodating. These guys know how to do customer service!. The staff/owners were amazing at accommodating our group. I had to spend an extra night due to illness and they were very caring. Let us all park our cars for free while we went kayaking for 5 days. Even stored some gear for one of the group that hadn't even stayed at the hotel. For Tofino in the summer, this is a good, non expensive choice if you are just looking for a place to stay: a room that has everything you need, perfectly located in the heart of Tofino. Free parking, coffee. What this hotel lacks in charm, is compensated in efficiency and hygiene. The ocean view room had a great view of the dock and harbour. The lounge facilities offered people the chance to bring in their own food. There were lots of restaurants, shops, and galleries nearby. Staff were nice and accommodating. Nice flat screen TV. The place was better than I expected - they closed the pub, which was previously the major source of problems -they have obviously been redecorating the place - great flat screen and cable. Beds were clean and comfortable - all you could ask for. This was the least expensive hotel (with own room and bathroom) that we could find online. We didn't expect much but actually turned out to enjoy our stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Everything: location, view from the window, extra-polite staff, cosiness, stationary internet, excellent service, comfortable, big bed, soft pillows, calmness. It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in the world!. The staff exceeded expectations never providing any negativity and satisfying any request without hesitation. The facility has aged but it is evident that cleanliness and service is a priority. The inn is in central Tofino, making it simple to walk to various restaurants and attractions. The common area for wi-fi is nice. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Great Value for the Stay, Great Location within short walk of restaurants great bakery and cafes. People were very friendly, common area was a great social atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. While the room was budget and lacked facilities, there was a room downstairs to use for cooking etc. The room was clean and comfortable. all the staff are very friendly , even facilities little old but quiet clean :-) and very nice location especially someone who go tofino to see nice sunset!. staff were very friendly and a nice common room everyone can use quiet for the most part, great location within our budget. Plain, no frills and I would stay again. This is not a luxury 5 star hotel, just clean and simple. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Room furnished with TV. Fridge and coffeemaker are available in the dining room. We stayed one night, which was our plan. The hotel was clean and comfortable, close to the main wharf and the main street. Three things: the proximity to the shops and beach, the immaculate room, the friendly and attentive staff. There was enough room for the four of us with two queen beds. The location right in town was convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge with the shared fridge, toaster and microwave made it a comfortable place to meet up for breakfast and at the end of the day. It was cleaner than I expected. Close to all shopping. Some rooms had great views. Large common area with access to fridge, kettle etc. as well as 2 computers with free usage. Good, affordable accommodations for younger travellers. We liked it all and will return again. The mattress was not comfortable, but OK for our two days. No coffee in the room, but I got used to this. The rooms are a bit worn, but I would go back in a heartbeat because of the location and view. - The bathroom water in the shower needed a bit of warming up to get hot. - No fridges in room - not a big deal though, especially not so with the communal fridge and all the stores nearby selling ice. Really the only annoyance was other hotel guests being very loud in the hallways. There is no breakfast, but there are many options in the neighbourhood and you might just as well buy some in the supermarket around the corner and have a in-hotel picknick in the community room. We were by the stairs so it was sometimes a bit noisy but not too bad. There was no alarm clock or hair dryer. Tile work in the bathroom floor was bad but the bathroom was really clean. Nothing to complain about, really. The room was very small without a table, but considering the price it's very reasonable. I was disappointed that the lodge will close during the winter months not reopening until May/14 as I would definitely stay there again in the very near future. The building and rooms are quite outdated and worn, with stains here and there on the carpet. That said, the bed was comfortable and the windows opened to allow fresh air in. We would definitely stay here again. No Mini Fridge in the rooms. Only one refrigerator/freezer for the entire motel, little or no room to place food. need some more stuff in the room like a hair dryer, coffee maker, electronic kettle...etc. They did not provide hair dryer. I didn't like pipes running through all rooms under the ceiling (fire suppressing system). It looks very ugly. The hotel is a little dated but as I said above it was clean and comfortable. No negatives here ... No elevator, but we revived help carry to sound flora. The best was a way too soft and sagged in the middle. lots of stairs old soft beds no ice cost wifi reception. The age of the building. No negatives here !!. Breakfast would have been very nice and the free wi-fi was hopeless. I only managed to connect for 1 hour in a three day stay. Guests upstairs young, loud. Too bad desk not around to tell them to be quiet. Water wasn't very hot in shower. None. because of location it could sometimes be a little noisy, but not so bad. no lift so getting suitcase up the stairs a bit of a strugle. A bitt outdated . Staff and facilities could be warmer. Old carpet. when the pub downstairs opens again the noise could get bad in the hotel. The coffee maker downstairs wasn't very convenient. It's a little older and dated. The rooms are quite plain and the beds were a little hard for me. It is an old building with stains on the hall carpets. There is a liquor store in the building so there is a fair amount of noise from purchasers till quite late. The beds were the biggest problem. They look fairly new but were not comfortable for us as we are 'larger' people. Our view was the house next door which was very close to our window. Also, we were on the second story and there is no elevator.
