The personal is charming and will help you whenever you need something. I had the Quebec Room and it was huge, luminous, with a queen-size bed. The breakfast was good as well (self-served with a large choice). The atmosphere is cosy and the inn is really lovely, I recommend you this bed & breakfast, you will definitely enjoy your stay!. It was close to the downtown, I could walk to may venues. It was very unique, a part of history, felt like visiting an old family friend. Everyone was very friendly. I loved the family home type atmosphere. Loved the decor and old achitecture.

I loved sitting out on the third floor deck enjoying the sunset. I could walk downtown and loved the central location. great location, interesting neighbourhood, confortable accomodations, pleasant owners. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Ottawa!. Roof tarrace, perfect localization - about 10 min walking from Parliament Hill, 20 meters from Elgin st. packed with restaurants, bars, fast foods. A beautiful Victorian house with period features, right downtown but on a quiet side street. Real maple syrup at breakfast. Location, serve yourself breakfast at time of our choosing, upstairs balcony,restaurants etc nearby. The bed was very comfortable Nice room Choices of movies to watch Great breakfast. Relaxing,comfortable, people friendly,provincial themed rooms, air conditioning. location able to walk to the downtown, the quiteness,the homy feel.... Very cozy and friendly. Good value for money. Pretty much everything was just fine. good value for the money. Although the Inn is not "manned most of the time all the instructions were very clear and the breakfast was copious. I liked having both tv and radio in hte room, as well as several bookls, and the shared bathroom close by. Room was clean. Parking available. breakfast fresh fruit. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear what's happening next door or on the floor but the inn is small and therefore quiet most of time. The early morning workers, the jackhammers started around 7:30 in the morning. The internet connection was down a few days. My room did not have a window that opened - airconditioner was appreciated, but I like fresh air too. (minor) -- could have used a few more electrical outlets in the room. Bedding could be higher quality. Shower and toilet next to our ensuite room were noisy, as were people in next door room one night (after 11pm). just wondering how the food can be ,in a more fresher state??? ie.breads+jams!. Could not open window in room (air conditioner blocked space). It was a bit strange not having a "host " on-site. Although there was internet available I couldn't manage to turn the computer on - Paula, the staff member who was there in the mornings could do it but she wasn't there when I needed to use the computer again. Breakfast items not stored properly. breakfast jams showers after 10pm are not welcome glass window above the doors and night lights. I paid $100 for a single room and when I saw the room I regretted to book it, the house is old, not stuff to help me, really expensive for the quality that they offer, however the breakfast was good. This house needs some upgrading to bring it up to standard. Our room was not very clean. We have booked a room with a bathroom, but did not get it and had to share a bathroom instead, and even though we got a 10% discount on that room it was not what we were looking for. Breakfast was very poor, self-serve and not fresh (all was brought in the night before). The coffee maker was old and leaky. I wouldn’t stay at this B&B again.
