  I had a private room for a really good price, though small I had a fridge and lots of cupboards above the bed. Comfortable and quiet despite having a bar downstairs, soundproofing was very good couldn't hear other guests when in my room. I wasn't keen on my original room as was a bit stuffy but reception offered me an alternativ - We loved our stay in this hotel! We got a room with a private bathroom, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel's staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - was close to everything we needed in downtown. The price was great too! I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again next time we are in Victoria.

  We loved the ambience! There was a young man playing the sax right under our window when we arrived and it was magical. When we entered the room there was a wood smell from the fireplace. It was heaven!   We arrived fairly late and had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub downstairs. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Beds very comfortable and quiet during the night. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.

  Ok People are freaking out way too much about this hotel, probably travellers who are looking for a luxury resort for very little money. The place was clean, had good staff, and cheap. I got a king size bed, all to myself :P The staff at night was awesome and made sure everything was safe.
