  From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the entire staff treated us exceptionally. They are all professional, respectful, and they treated my daughter like a queen. The hotel itself is amazing and fun to explore, especially in your slippers late at night. He was so friendly and nice and remembered our names each time we met him. He went out of his way to make us feel special and this made our first stay here memorable. Thank you Jay!   We were upgraded to another suite on arrival and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fixtures, fittings and furniture in our suite. Every thing was immaculately clean and it provided everything that you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. We found all staff members to be pleasant and helpful and customer service oriented and this makes for happy customers. Good job everyone. - It was close to the town but was quiet and peaceful although there were plenty of amenities if you wanted to make use of them. It would be a great place for families and was comfortable and clean. The staff were great and really helpful we were missing out tv remote and a member of staff brought one straight away when we called the reception. Breakfast was tasty and again the staff were friendly and helpful.

  restaurant was good and staff was excellent - We really enjoyed our stay and the closeness to all areas. The staff were wonderful, especially when we had a concern about the heat in our room, and the coffee machine was replaced quickly when discovered not working.

  The room was very large, clean and cozy. The room had a fridge, two comfortable chairs and a dining table, which we could use for snack or breakfast, a very large desk and a chair, which we could use for a computer. The room was warm - the air conditioning was very powerful and it warmed the room almost instantly. The staff was great - a few days before our - Great hotel! Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, kitchen, microwave... We've stayed at other places in Banff, and liked Irwin's the best. Most of the other places felt more like overpriced motel rooms, while Irwin's felt like a nice hotel. We got a great last minute deal on a room, and were pleasantly surprised by what a nice place it was. Also, pet fee was only $10.

There is a breakfast buffet at the ptarmigan hotel where you check in to the driftwood and for $14 , gst and tip included, you eat like a king and have bottomless juice and coffee.
