  The hotel is about 100 m from the main street of the city and from there another 100 m to the main beach and the turtle park. It also offered free parking to us. The hotel is in a very safe area (generally Praia do Forte is safe) and someone can walk freely at any day or night time.   Although Morro de SP is not a typical destination for people with limited mobility, I took my father there who is in a wheelchair for long distances. I was so impressed by how accomodating staff were at Carme Pousada.   The deluxe, second-floor ocean-view room was lovely and well-appointed as well as quite quiet and private. Location in relation to all beaches especially Third and Fourth beaches was excellent. Beach 4 is peaceful, perfect for snorkelling in the rock pools when tide is out and perfect for sand and sea when tide is in. When I booked I thought that breakfast was served in the main hotel location at beach 3 but that is not the case, there is a full breakfast service in the beach 4 area.

  We loved, loved the hotel. Fantastic location for snorkeling and resting. The natural pools are teaming with marine life a few steps from our beach umbrella. The piscinas naturaes at low tide make this easy, even if you are not a great swimmer. The view from our room was of turquoise waters and swaying palm trees. Air con in the bedroom was super quiet. Staff were extremely warm and helpful even if they spoke limited English. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious.
