  The price was very good for this time of the year. Holiday was during our stay. We were there to play in a golf tournament and the owner moved breakfast to 0700hrs instead of 0730hrs so we could eat and still get to the course. Everything was just great.

  The hotel is about 100 m from the main street of the city and from there another 100 m to the main beach and the turtle park. It also offered free parking to us. The hotel is in a very safe area (generally Praia do Forte is safe) and someone can walk freely at any day or night time.   Pousada Ilha Verde is a very nice accomodation with a nice garden. The rooms are lovely and clean and we had a good time relaxing or cooling off at the pool. It was quite interesting seeing bananas grow as we just know them from the supermarket. We loved that and tried everything new! ;-) As so many places in Brazil you have to be carefu - the delicious breakfast, made fresh everyday; the comfortable bed; the friendly staff; chocolate the dog; the swimming pool and garden areas.
