  The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of the old city center (upper city). A perfect location to explore Salvador. The area the hotel is in is newly renovated and is safe to walk around freely during days and nights. Staff speaks really good English and are extremely helpful. We went for a professional capoeira show in the evening just about 5 minutes from the hotel – supposingly one of the best in Brazil. - The hotel is charming. The staff are among the nicest, most helpful and accommodating I've found in all my travelling. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the bed could have slept 4 people! The location of the hotel was great for tourists, shopping (although touristy shopping mostly) and taxis were abundant and within a 1 minute walk. Good restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well.

  Hotel was beautiful and our favourite so far ( and we have stayed in many). The bungalows are beautiful, clean and very romantic. The hotel has been kept pristine and the manager is always around and is very helpful. Staff are very friendly too and can give advice on travelling around. There is loads of privacy and the atmosphere is l - Great personnel: professional, helpful and friendly. Location is simply amazing, if you look for a quiet beach where you can enjoy. For more restaurants and bars you just can make use of the shuttle from the hotel. Worth to explore beaches around and enjoy some snorkelling. Food at the hotel is good, specially breakfasts, very complete and good quality.

  The price was very good for this time of the year. Holiday was during our stay. We were there to play in a golf tournament and the owner moved breakfast to 0700hrs instead of 0730hrs so we could eat and still get to the course. Everything was just great.

  Very relaxing location, away from the busy Praia do Forte, but easy to get there via taxi or bus if you wish. Restaurant is well priced, good variety. 2 pools, table tennis. Big spacious room, with own cooking facilities if you want. - The location couldn't be better, just few steps from the beach and a wonderful pool.   Staff was very helpful with giving suggestions for the activities in the city and spoke good English. Rooms are very nice and neat. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best we had in Brazil. Location is very safe, which is important if you visit Salvador.
