  Staff were friendly and helpful even though we spoke no Portuguese. The hotel is organised very well, very clean and safe. We went for Carnaval, it was the perfect location for transportation links or walking to the many parties. The location is great, about 700m from metro, bus stops even closer, taxi's driving past front door at any time of day or night, very accessible, walkin distance to arches of lapa, and night life area. breakfast in the morning is delicious and a large variety.

  The staff were absolutely wonderful in every way. They arranged safe storage of documents in the hotel safe even though it was not a usual service. The house keeping staff are fastidiously clean. The porter in particular was a gem. He walked me to a laundry some distance away and arranged laundry as I do not speak Portuguese well.
