  Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Staff at reception was efficient and spoke good english, cleaning was very good and the breakfast was delicious. Our room on the Ipanema Floor was really lovely, nice modern furnishing and fantastic view of the beach. The hotel restaurant is really good and the breakfast was also excellent.

  Staff were very helpful - particularly at breakfast. Pool area is nice and quiet. Staff on beach is a plus - Staff very helpful.
