Sunset Backpackers is a tropical hostel, located on a hilltop, 400 metres from Mole Beach. Free WiFi is available throughout. The accommodation has beautiful views of the Conceição Lagoon and Atlantic Forest There are private rooms, female and mixed dormitories, all equipped with lockers and ceiling fan. Bathrooms are shared, and some rooms have a balcony. At Sunset, guests enjoy buffet breakfast with a variety of tropical fruits, juice and fresh bread. A barbecue facility for preparing meals is available too. Various activities are available at the hostel, from city tours to paragliding. The hostel is just a 2.9 km from Joaquina Beach. Downtown Florianópolis and the bus station are 20 km away.

Awesome fun - free capharinia every night!!. The buffet lunch for I think 16 Reals was really good. The staff kept trying to sell their tours to the beaches rather than giving helpful advice about the local buses which only cost 3 Reals. Also, when I requested a departure taxi to the bus station, it was a friend of the staff not an official taxi who charged me 20 Reals more than on my arrival at the hostel.
