St. Wolgang and Bad Ischl are both a 15-minute drive away and the closest bus station can be reached within a 5-minute walk. Restaurants are a 3-minute walk from Illighof.

The owner is very hospitable and friendly, she made great breakfast and tended to our needs. Beautiful area, very nice view, clean room, good breakfast, easy access with the car. Next to the house was a camping site. No direct road to the lake. No soap/shower gel in the room. You need a car to get from the main road to the house after the sun is down, due to a part that you would need to walk without any light (around 10 minutes).
