  Arriving at the Berwald I was met by the charming and welcoming hostess Katharina. I had a choice of two rooms which were both very comfortable. The house commands spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the tinkling of the cowbells on the mountains added to its charm. Katharina was very friendly and spoke fluent english. She interact... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ed with her guests well to ensure they were happy. - Perfect!. Haus Bergwald is simply the perfect hotel in a most beautiful location. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, well furnished and with mindblowing views of the Alpbach area. Breakfast was excellent. Katharina and her family willingly attend to your every wish to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We didn't want to leave, but we shall be back next summer.

  Excellent staff attentiveness. Looks like it was built yesterday as to the cleaniless and overall appearance. Tricky to find, but not difficult with GPS. Added plus was two passes with stay to enjoy nearby lifts and payment of toll road over the pass.   This is our absolute favorite B&B! We cannot speak highly enough of Hotel Berghof. It is a jewel. We loved the accommodations, the service and the food. Every square inch of the inn is sparkling clean and charming. The staff is stellar -- extremely efficient, friendly and accommodating. And, the food is amazing -- so delicious! We have raved about it to our friends and family and will strongly recommend it to anybod - we were blown away by the luxury of the room, it was so clean and comfortable.
