  We had a lovely large triple room, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy, lovely large bathroom, great breakfast, within easy walking distance of the centre of Salzburg and 2 minutes to the train station, unassuming and friendly multi-lingual staff, fast checkout. Even the kitchen staff was great. The breakfast was good (but get there early to get a taste of everything). The room was very nice and clean.   The hotel was great both the location and the staff. I have enjoyed staying at this hotel, though most of the time I was away for sightseeing. The staff are very helpful and friendly (you just feel as you are a member of them.   Martha Hotel is ideal for skiers. You can end your ski day exactly at the back entrance of the hotel...putting your skis in a special closet and boots on a warm hanger to dry for next day. Breakfast was good, but the warm food (scrambled eggs and bacon everyday) could have some kind of variety.
