Landhaus Lilly is situated in a quiet location in Obertraun, just 5 km from Hallstatt and a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from the Krippenstein Cable Car, offering access to the Five Fingers viewing platform and Dachstein Ice Cave. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. After renovations in 2013 and 2014 the property now offers a choice of different accommodation units. Four of the rooms have a balcony with panoramic mountain views and feature a king-sized double bed with a luxury mattress and bedding. The apartment features a kitchen and dining area. A small twin room does not offer a balcony. All of the en-suite rooms come with a flat-screen TV featuring an integrated DVD player. A minibar and free tea and coffee making facilities are available for the guests in the breakfast room. A continental breakfast is served daily here and gluten-free breakfast options are also available, by prior arrangement. A ski and bicycle storage room is at guests’ disposal and free private parking spaces can be used at the premises. Bicycle rental is available on site. The Lake Hallstatt and the Koppenwinkl Nature Reserve are less than 2km away and there are many cycling and hiking routes in the area. Bad Ischl with its thermal spa is 25 minutes away by train or car. Gosau and the ski area at Dachstein West can be reached within a 20-minute drive.

Absolutely recommend this place. As a solo female traveler, I've never felt so safe and comfortable. They even picked me up from the train station and dropped me off at Hallstatt post-stay! The inn is a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of town: incredibly peaceful and quiet while an easy walk to grocery stores, restaurants and attractions. My room was spotless, with a clean, cozy, modern aesthetic. It's obvious that this establishment takes great pride in their work; the attention to.

Spacious bedroom, lovely breakfast, and a warm reading area. Paul &Liz (The owner) is so friendly and really taking care of you. They provide the lift from/to the statin, even to the site. After been to Hallstatt, I feel it is such a right decision to choose the quiet Obertraun rather than Hallstatt with all tourists. The location also gives you a better opportunity to exp. The place is lovely and very comportable. Everything is so clean - linens, towels etc. Easy to find location. Liz and Paul make us feel so at home - friendly and helpful. I have travelled widely and this is the best place we have stayed overseas. I we ever goes back to Obertraum, we would definitely stay there again. The location is also very near to the ICE CAVES nearby. We recently stayed 2 nights at Landhaus Lilly and rate it as the best accommodation experience of our 2 week tour around Europe. Liz and Paul (the owners) are very friendly and have done a magnificent job of renovating this lovely B&B. We decided to stay in Obertraun rather than Hallstatt due to ease of access and are very glad that we did!. The hosts of this newly renovated guest house are very helpful and welcoming. They have thought of everything, and the rooms are beautiful. It's in a lovely setting in the mountains convenient to Halstatt and other mountain destinations. Breakfast was very good, and there's an excellent restaurant just down the road. Brand new place with beautiful view on the mountains, easy accessible by car, only 5 minutes by car from Halstatt. Closest "landhaus style" restaraunt is 5-7 minutes away from the place. Also close to Dachstein cable car. Very fiendly and helpful owners. Wonderfully warm and friendly hosts eager to make your stay most comfortable. Newly refurbished-- modern spacious bathrooms, immaculately clean, new beds, designer furnishings, satellite tv. A wonderful experience. Would most certainly return. It was a really good stay. The owners provided lifts to/from the station and even to restaurants. Service was excellent. Everything in the house is brand new and comfortable. Very convenient location for trips to mountains. The best stay of our 20 day trip in Europe! Everything is beyond our expectation! If you drive a car, this is the place to stay. If you come by public transportation, this is also the place to stay. Just feel like home!. (over 25minutes by walk) -but if you would like a lift from Obertraun train station they do. difficult to find hotel, far from town and no restaurant nearby.
