  We had a lovely large triple room, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy, lovely large bathroom, great breakfast, within easy walking distance of the centre of Salzburg and 2 minutes to the train station, unassuming and friendly multi-lingual staff, fast checkout. Even the kitchen staff was great. The breakfast was good (but get there early to get a taste of everything). The room was very nice and clean.   The rooms are exceptionnally large and clean, with nice furniture. The hotel is quiet, though located absolutely nearby the center of the city (8 to 10 minutes from downtown). The restaurant of the hotel, though we didn't have the chance to test it apart of breakfast, is excellent. We chose a room with a bathroom. Our room was very clean, comfortable, big enough for 2 people. It was on the second floor. The busses run about every 20 mins, but it varies. The reception staff is very helpful. Do buy tickets beforehand, to save unnecessary expensive on the bus purchased, tickets. But remember, on Sundays, most shops are closed in Salzburg. The main train station is definitely walking distance. Currently there is construction going on, so to handle luggage down and up stairs can be a challenge.
