The room was light, sufficiently spacious, and well laid out. Being able to open the windows for fresh air was a bonus. The bathroom was functional without being lavish. The staff were really helpful. The location was quiet, and an easy walk from the centre of town. We had a really (and surprisingly) good meal, fairly priced, in the hotel restaurant. All in all, excellent value. We had a great stay at Mercure, all staff were friendly and we extended our stay an extra night for a great price! Location was great and rooms were fantastic. Was great as room were large enough for son to run around and was area outside our room he could play. We'll be back in a fortnight!.
kaikki arvostelut » We stayed for 4 nights. The room was spacious, modern and clean - exactly what we were expecting. We were visiting family so we didn't use the facilities for other than for breakfast. The staff were efficient and friendly...couldn't ask for anything more. Excellent facilities, services and restaurant.Located within walking distance to central shopping area. Staff very friendly and the overall impression was great. The Mecure was situated in a very handy place :) we had to visit relatives in Wodonga so it wasn't too far to travel we used Wagga as a central point. Immaculately clean, comfortable, quiet, very conveniently located, nice decor, good parking, great staff! What more could you want. The bed was so comfy, you just melt into it. Both the morning and afternoon staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. The staff were friendly and efficient The room was clean, comfortable and spacious Location was good, quiet and easy to find,. Service was exceptional, staff friendly. There was no guest lift, so we had to lug our bags etc up and down the stairs. Only complaint was that the door leading into the corridor gave a loud bang any time a person entered or left the block of rooms, next time I will ask for a different unit. We didn't get any shower gel until the last day :(. Nothing. The food was average and little dispointing and a little over priced,. Breakfast buffet was pretty poor and the spa bath in our room was out of order. Room service Breakfast of bacon & eggs (not included in room rate) was a little 'light on'. Had to go home. bathroom needs upgrade. There was quite a bad smell in the bathroom . It seemed to be from an external source. People smoking outside of their rooms. The cigarette smoke still permeates to other rooms. Would be good if smokers had to move at least 100 metres from the building.(Like hospitals etc) Horrible toilet paper. Couldn't use the hdmi port on the tv to play our own movies, restaurant was closed and no cutlery or crockery in room. Strange tiny frij, full of their drinks. We wanted to put food in, and freeze ice packs, but couldnt. Didnt like that the bathroom light switch also triggered the ceiling fan. When it is 2Deg outside, you dont always want the fan on. Sticky floor in bathroom, assume cleaning fluid. Cost a little high. Staff member at check-in was not too focused. Nothing. No lifts we were in a room upstairs and had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. air-con poor,breakfast room service food cold. dining room food overcooked and tasteless.Lounge chair dusty,some parts of room missed by cleaner. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, though there wasn't 2 separate bedrooms - just 1 bedroom and a double bed in the main living area. It was still fine, though it just wasn't what we expected. Poor quality restaurant. Noisiest place/room we stayed in ever. Lots of quieter rooms were available, but despite booking months earlier we were given a room in the worst location as regards traffic noise and in a construction site. Smelly drain in the bathroom Restaurant bellow expected standards.
