  The staff are always friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Mercure Townsville has a lovely feel to it with its well maintained gardens and pool area. We don't feel like we have to stay indoors, there are many places to enjoy in the grounds which makes our stay more enjoyable. - The deluxe king room was spacious with a balcony.   We stayed here for two nights and got a special for the room, it had a great room with foxstar, we loved it. The bed was wonderful we hardly got out, room service was although a little on the pricey side AMAZING it's in a great area, close to everything. We're defiantly staying again! - I was a late arrival and pleased to find out the restaurant... mitä ihmiset sanovat » was open till 10pm. Most similar hotels shut the kitchen down at 8. Great quality food presented well. Easy, no fuss breakfast. Will choose to stay at Rydges next time.
