Lots of facilities are for addititonal fee (e.g. breakfast and WiFi with rather complicated system of tax). I haven't got a refund of extracharged money since 20 days after check out.

Facilities was modern, clean and comfortable. Location is quiet and peaceful. Close to the local shops at Macquarie Centre to buy any groceries if needed.
Breakfast buffet running out of food in the middle of service. Plates not being cleared from tables at breakfast so hard to find free table. Very crowded around breakfast buffet so was a tiring experience. Probably skip the buffet next time. Extra charges for open air parking.
The convenience of being close to the macquarie uni, the room was lovely.
When I checked in the gentleman did not talk me through where to park how to access parking or where the room is located. I had to ask him questions to gain this information and I think it should be part of the check in experience that if you have not stayed their before you are briefed on the facilities etc.

Lexie and Simone on the front desk were wonderful and ever so helpful and friendly to me. Also your gorgeous shuttle bus driver was marvellous too. Everyone went out of their way to help me knowing I was by myself with not a clue how to get around.

Staff were helpful in many ways. From directions, assisting with my Mothers needs also it was close to the hospital. It met all our needs.
I loved the big spacious bed and the dark room at night time, there was no light coming through anywhere which my husband loved.
The only thing I did not like was the amount of dust that has built up on the top of the tiles in the tiles in the bathroom that goes around the wall base. (Sorry I notice these things as I am a cleaner myself and have been for over 30 years.)
The location suited us as we needed to go to a specialty shop at a local shopping centre - Top Ryde. The other motels in the area didn't sound at all appealing. The best features were 1. Easy parking and 2. Quiet - didn't hear any traffic noise.

We found it very handy to have a microwave in the room as there is no restaurant for the evening meal,although there is a very limited Room Service menu.

Overall good value if you need to be in the Macquarie Park area. Comfortable rooms but limited food options in-house or in walking distance. Great restuarant next door though, but hard to find ("Lachlans" at Macquarie Graduate School of Management).
Laundry slip in the room offered 10 items at $29.50. When I checked out I had been charged $64.10. Took some time to get the desk staff to credit the difference.

It is so close to the M2 and Macquarie Shopping Centre, it is an excellent choice if you want to stay in Sydney but avoid the city traffic, and at the same time, you are close to the big shopping centre where you can find anything you wanted. The railway station is only 5 minutes away where you can take a train to the city or anywhere you like. I recommend this hotel to anyone who don't want to drive into the heart of Sydney but want to have fun of the city at the same time.
The car park is quite far away from the room so we had to carry our luggage for quite a long way.

Deaf people are not given access to subtitled/closed caption tv which makes for a very unpleasant stay. Unlike the MGSM hotel next door, they charge $7.50 per day for parking. Again, unlike the MGSM they also charge for internet access.This also means that it is not as pleasant staying here as it is at the MGSM.
