The proximity to family living in Sydney, the breakfast included was great. Although we were in a busy city area, it was very quiet. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and decor pleasant. I enjoyed the service from the reception staff. Thank you for upgrading our room and not moving us to our originally booked room. Over all our stay was very pleasant. Comfortable larger room Big window that opened for fresh air Old but clean & well set out Friendly Good to have light breakfast included.

My wife and I stayed the night before she went into hospital and I spent the next four nights while waiting for her discharge.My first four nights were acceptable but not my last night in their motel and the closeness of the motel to the hospital was my only reason for booking any extra nights over our original booking. . It was a budget hotel where we stayed for only one night for 140$. And location of hotel was not far from St Leonards station which helped us commuting to Sydney SBD. I found the reception staff efficient and friendly. The staff was great and very enguaging. Convenient, near train station. location is next to royal north shore hospital so may be suitable for patients but it is very poor value for the money charged, it says four star and it is not even two star hotel, considering the quality of the service. There wasnt very much to like! Just an average hotel. It was really 2 star accomadation at 3/4 star price. I would not stay there again. The inclusion of breakfast.It was convenient for us. Location. I felt that the room could have been cleaned better. The carpet was not vacuumed the whole time we were there. one of the beds was not made at all so I made that bed up myself. Car park. Parking can be a problem. 2.5 story walk-up was unexpected. Parking facilities tight and limited. The light in the hallway right outside our door was on all night. As there wasn't a good seal around the door, light was pouring in all night long. Parking tight. However they have parking available at next door Hotel. was all good. Nothing. parking was a bit hard to exit. Nothing to mention. there was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage to up stairs. Three stories and no lift Odiferous Very cramped breakfast bar No light in bathroom Could not rate because radio buttons had no text. Staff fine. Rest two or three stars. Lack of remote for the air conditioner and lack of shelf in refrigerator (both were supposed to be present but were missing). My last night spent in their company there was no hot water, no room heating, rubbish bins in unit had not been emptied which made me wonder had the bed even been changed since the last guest. Standard of daily service of room. Lack of detail of female reception staff. Cleanliness of outside laundry facilities and outside breakfast area. carpet throughout and walls had the look & odour of old dirt. the room had one bedside lamp with loose fittings, wifi advertised "included" was only available for a $10 fee. Parking access was a problem. Possible fire safety a problem with narrow hallways and stair access. Bathroom light not working. No TV reception in morning - so no access to the day's news. So many stairs to top floor - good exercise, but bags can be heavy. The breakfast was very poor,both in quality and presentation. The power point near the bed head was hanging off the wall ! I did report this to Reception. The basin taps were odd and both were indicating "HOT" ! This Motel should be described as "Budget" at the point of booking. We do not believe that this Motel deserves a Three Star rating. Unnecessary spa in bathroom Benches in room looked tired and shabby TV reception unbearable so could not watch our usual ABC and SBS .... Turned it off and left it off. everything is getting a bit old and worn out. Breakfast was help yourself cereal and bread. Could have been advertised as such. Thought breakfast would have been at least continental. The room I was staying was on the pacific highway side and found difficult to sleep because of the traffic noise. Hot water wouldn't work without bath tap running to start it off. No airconditioning and only one light extra blanket - it was freezing. The room was on the top floor (we were not informed of this), no lifts and my 85 year old partner has heart problems. No TV remote. No "Do not disturb" sign. No extra pillows when requested. When I was leaving in the morning I had to make two trips to my car. This was not a problem in itself but I accidently put my room key in the lock of the room next to mine and to my horror my key opened the neighbouring door perfectly. Fortunately the occupant who was in bed had the chain on but it shook me up knowing that keys open more than one door. Also, parking at this motel is very tight. Air conditioning noisy. The fan didn't work. No fly screen in the bathroom (where the faulty fan was) meant we shared the evening with mosquitos. Very small room and small bathroom. Room was little shady and glass provided were no clean. There was no water in the room and no one to attend at reception if need something at night. The general condition of accommodation and amenities in room. Poor arrangement for parking Some reservation about personality and general attitude of staff towards their customers. Not recommended for the price. No lights on very steep stairs. Bathroom door didn't stay closed. No shelf in bathroom. Shower dripped all night. Sink dripped. Water damage under sink. Damp smell. Cockroaches in sink. Foot print on lounge. Very noticable. Very basic accommodation. Over priced. Backpacker accommodation with own bathroom. I thought the maintainence of the room very poor. The bed was not comfortable for the price and also did not in anyway look like advertised.... Poor facilities in my room. I didn't have an iron (but I has an ironing board) so I asked for one and was told there were none left. Tea bags and cups were in a cupboard in my room, but I had no hot water. The shower takes five minutes to hear up and another five minutes to cool down to a bearable temperature. car parking impossibly small. no coffee or tea in room. not even a glass for water. bathroom very small. FRIDGE NOT TURNED ON. DINNER CAFE NOT OPEN. BREAKFAST MENU NOT GOOD. Unclean, rooms very dark, staff response very poor and ill-mannered. Despite complaining to the cleaners and the reception, that the room has not been cleaned and sink has not been washed for 2 days, nothing happened. The continental breakfast offering was very poor. Wheet-bix, cornflakes, and toast was all that was available. There was no fruit or croissants, or anything else. Ive recently stayed stayed in many hotels in Thailand whose continental breakfasts far exceeded this lot!! The parking facilities were very poor. We found the reception area could be more inviting re paintwork etc. Bedroom was grotty. Bedspread needed a dryclean, couch very grotty. I was disa ppointed with my online booking and hope to have a better experience next time. Poor quality bed. Unclean room, cups not cleaned. Old & in poor condition. 2 star at best.
