The rooms and bed were extremely comfortable and gorgeous old building. Facilities always clean and well managed. friendly atmosphere everyone felt welcome and relaxed. very close to train station, IGA, park and only a couple of stops from Central. Very child friendly and you can make of the trip whatever you want. Only 5mins walk to train station and 10 min walk to newtown. So well located if you want to be near hub but not in it, quieter. Good kitchen facilities. Free wifi and toast / cereal breakfast nd tea coffe included.

Friendly staff, comfortable basic room, serve your self breakfast included in the price. Close to the train, easy access from the city via public transport. The friendliness of the staffs and guests. It is conveniently located near a train station that leaves you in the center of Sydney. You can park free on the street. It is clean and the staff is very nice. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The room was big enough and clean. Bathroomfacilities were oke. Close to the trainstation and in the City within 10 minutes. We booked budget and got budget. - near by the train station and bus line to the city - near by the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Could have used a fan in the room. Bathroom areas needed cleaning more often. Kitchen closed at 10pm, so so a kettle in th room would have been good. The remote control fan/light kept turning on and off because it was triggered by the remote in the room next door. The couple in my room havin sex in the nite. Worse thing 2 listen to! Mayb they should keep solo travelers in a room wiv other solo travelers. Cant fault the hostel tho. Walls are VERY thin - kept awake most of the second night by the people in the next room who had the TV on almost all night. nothing. I went to check out at 8:30am. Sign said office would open at 8:30 but it did not. Did not get a call back from staff when we thought we left something at lodge. Noise from other residents. Roommate could possibly wake you up if they return late or get up early. -Seem toilets/bathrooms are not clean everyday, running out of toilet paper, but no replacement. -can hear the aeroplanes sound from the sky at night times. The WIFI never worked right. Our room was out and it was a problem to go to the bathroom. Our room was next to the bathrooms and by a strange construction we could see the lights go on and off and hear everything including the loud bathroomvans which was quite annoying. squeaky bunk beds far from sydney cbd two separate buildings. No aircon in room. Window had no netting (mosquitos came in), blinds did not shut properly so there was no privacy..no kettle in room. Reception wasn't occupied at all times. that there was no breakfast at 7 15 am . Terrible noise from aircraft flying overhead and traffic (vehicle & human) from the street. No double glazing for noise mitigation. No segregation of gender. No hot water for shower. Stained mattress protector and stained pillows, one pillow had stuffing out of it, messy kitchen and below average breakfast, weird and inconvenient electronic door keys, no toilet paper in the middle of the night (on a weekend), all those stairs with a suitcase!. Double room poorly furnished. Inconsiderate guests make the shared bathrooms dirty. I was put in 4 share dorm - the only female with 3 males (not impressed) Tried to have a shower in the morning but no hot water. The fact that our room was right next to the front door and I got a total of 8 hours sleep over 3 nights due to goon drinking English backpackers. Would have been ok if we were there to party but we were there for a work course so it was less than ideal. - heavy air traffic from 6am till late night - I stayed in room 31 with no air conditioning - ants and other bugs - too expensive for poor comfort - room is only for people with NO demands.
