  Sijainti - I liked that they let me leave my luggage in the hotel before check in because i was going to soundwave. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value for money. I lived how it was right next to the station. I would've gone and had a drink at the pub/nightclub, but was knackered from soundwave. - Staff very accommodating and helpful... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ; room cleaners/service very friendly and cheerful; plenty toilets and showers at each floor and just around the corner to the biggest mall. And just across the Train Central station.

  Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good. - The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

  Location was perfect! Really nice spot, just a little bit away from the main hwy, but walk distance to the beach. And just next to Bus/Trancit Station (Greyhound). POOOL is perfect!   Being a hostel i was expecting a rough stay but I was really surprised by this place. Overall we had a lovely stay here and would have happily stayed longer. The room was nice and big. the beds were very comfortable. The gardens were fabulous, beautifully landscaped with nice tropical trees, a small stream etc. The pool was a great plus. It had an en-suite bathroom and a - Was very impressed by this so called hostel, was more like an apartment with all the room we had and the individual houses were really picturess.   The kitchen is big and well equipted. The room is clean and the security is awesome, there are security camera everywhere in public area. There is a wifi room you can use wifi which is great.   Great place. If you're looking for somewhere to party & have a laugh then this is the place. Stayed in a four bed room with an ensuite shower & toilet which were cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly & helpful along with the tour desk. The club though is brilliant!! Large & loud & does $10 meal/drink deal which was a life save... mitä ihmiset sanovat » r. Would stay here again whenever in Cairns. - Stayed from 19.2.13 - 26.2.13 in room 417 and had an awesome stay. I went with 3 people from work in Brisbane as a get away. We hardly ended up leaving at all because everything was there. I'll be booking again soon. Very hard to fault! Thanks to all the Gilligan's team.
