Clonmara Cottages offers comfortable, self-contained cottages set in 1.5 acres of manicured gardens. The property is located in a stone cottage dating from 1855. Each adult only cottage includes a lounge area with flat-screen TV and DVD player, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and a dining area. Some cottages have a gas log fire. Most also have a spa bath. Free off-street car parking is provided. Luggage storage is included. Wi-Fi internet access is available. The cafes and restaurants of Port Fairy town centre are a 15-minute walk from Clonmara Cottages Port Fairy. It is situated at the end of the famous Great Ocean Road along the “Shipwreck Coast”.

The owners were absolutely lovely and really took pride in what they have. We were personally shown around the property and our room and little extras were included that we did not expect such a port wine and chocolates and bath crystals which made the whole stay even better. The homemade cooked breakfast was not cheap but it was delicious and came right on time, nice and hot with generous amounts of food. We were just disappointed we didn't get to try the famous devonshire tea because we didn'.
kaikki arvostelut » didn't meet staff but received a phone call and lovely welcoming letter as well as guide to area, services, shopping and restaurants menus. cottage was warmed and lights on awaiting our arrival. minibar drinks and snacks for purchase and a complementary breakfast closeness of wildlife (llamas/alpacas, chickens) relaxing garden grounds (including outdoor large chess set, organic garden). We stayed in the Cherry Plum Cottage, set in a beautiful country garden within a working farm. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and have done everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the personal touches such as fresh milk and the Port and chocolates. Thank you, we will certainly recommend to friends. The cottage had fire beads heater on waiting for us withl complimentary port and chocolate. The room was comfortable and so cozy. We had a breakfast basket made for us is to have in the room with delicious coffee. The owner has put a lot of thought in just about everything. We loved it!. Great unit in fantastic garden setting. Would have loved to spend some time in the courtyard garden had the weather been better. Friendly, helpful staff. Good range of souvenirs and gift ware. Wonderful food in tea room. Well stocked mini-bar at reasonable prices. We loved the quaint old world feel of Cherry Plum cottage set in lovely cottage garden with roses, mature trees ect. Tables and chairs set under the trees for cup of tea or glass of wine. Lovely feel about it all.We would love to return for a longer stay. Loved it- the cottages are exactly what you need. A little gift of sweets for your arrival and a bit of port. A perfect breakfast is provided in your room. The room was lovely and cosy and beautifully furnished. Can't recommend it highly enough. Doug and Ruth were wonderful hosts who could not do enough for us, they were very helpful about local sights and things to see and do. We ate in on two nights and the meals were delicious...excellent The gas "potbelly heater" was very warm. We loved the privacy, and the quaint historic buildings on the property, also the lovely old fruit trees and cottage gardens and the Alpacas. Also the Manager was really helpful, and friendly with tips on restaurants. We received a very warm welcome. The cottage was perfect for us- peaceful, quiet and very relaxing. The town was charming with excellent beaches and access to wildlife. We wished that we could have stayed longer>. We were treated like queens. Nothing was too much trouble. Even had devenshire tea delivered to our cottage..cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Port and chocolates awaited our arrival. The Cottage is one of the best we ever stayed. We like the atmosphere very much. All the furnitures are of good quality and we enjoyed the fireplace and games a lot. Will definitely visit again. Old style cottages with modern amenities are very comfortable accommodations. Owner/hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and helpful with suggestions about restaurants and activities. Beautifully maintained cute cottage. The gardens were an absolute delight as was the service. Attention to detail was impeccable. Great place to stay for a cozy getaway !. Staff/owners were very helpful in recommending cafes/restaurants and local sightseeing. Cottage was lovely and the breakfast at the Tea House was huge. The setting was super and quite private for us as there was no one in the cottage next door. The birdsong was great too and the facilities were great. Spacious apartment. Well appointed. The Staff were friendly and non invasive, the cottage was perfectly furnished and we had no problems during our stay. Wonderful welcome, comfortable accommodation in a tranquil setting and yet 15 minutes walk from town. Spacious accommodation in a detached cottage, about 300 metres up a lane off the main road into town. Loved Port Fairy and Clonmara. Will visit again. Very cosy, comfortable and relaxing - thank you. the management were exceptionally friendly and helpful. it was a first class stay. the scenery was amazing. the town was so relaxed and easygoing. Garden setting Quaintness of cottage's exterior. we liked every thing cant wait to go back. Nice touch with the biscuits and liqueur. Clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Setting was pleasant and quiet. Facilities in room were good. Nothing, it was one of the best places we have ever stayed at and will definitely be back. Nothing to say. Shower had some mould and the spar was not as clean at it could have been. Bed was harder than I like. Pillows were straight out of the Flintstone's. Nothing to dislike. The hot water on our shower went cold on two separate occasions...not good in winter. Not applicable. Pity we couldn't stay longer. No hairdryer for me to use , and no washing machine , which would have been handy - but I m just being picky - it was great without these things !!. N/a. The car park could have been slightly more spacious, or there could have been lines to guide other cars so we could hardly fit ours in. Nothing !. 10:15am room departure time. bed a little frim. Shower a tad small. The cottage was too far away from Port Fairy centre. The decor was a bit 'Holly Hobbie' and dated. No undercover parking and available parking was too far away from Cottage when it rained.
