  loved the design of the villas,and the bright colours. Loved the intimacy of it being a small resort for couples. Loved all the complimentary extras that made it special. Loved the herb pots. This accommodation was the best thing about Port Douglas.

  Apartment was beautifully furnished and spacious. Amazing location only 100 metres to the beach and about 300 metres to main street. Staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again - Room very comfortable. Facilities great.

The managers, Francesca and Lian were friendly, and helpful; when I accidentally showed up after their work hours it was easy to call and get access to my room within two minutes. I c - Central Plaza Port Douglas was beautifully hosted and well-appointed. Fiona was incredible: friendly, problem-solving, generous, and full of information. With regard to the facility itself, we loved the spacious apartment, which had everything we could have wanted--from pasta fork to teapot, and from drying rack to conditioning shampoo. The common areas (shaded lounge, barbeque, pool, outdoor dining area) were a huge plus, and made the apartment seem even larger!

  Beautiful two bedroom apartment with large living area, and good kitchen and laundry. Soft beds big bathtubs. 4km from the city centre which made it quiet. Staff were great. Free DVD movies including some for the kids. Cheap esky hire for a picnic. Safe for the kids. Two pools, one fully heated and one partially heated. BBQ area. Very welcoming and helpful friendly reception staff. Lovely pool in natural rock setting. Only slight drawback is the 6 minute ride into Port Douglas centre but this is more than offset by the tranquility and lush surrounbings of the resort.

  the staff were great especially Emma at reception. the spa was amazing, very serene and relaxing and my massage was bliss. location is great, a street away from shops and cafes. loved the torch flames throughout the resort. - Excellent stay. Very clean and spacious apartment. Would stay again.

  We found Nimrod Resort a place to go for a quiet relaxing and peaceful holiday, with the advantage to being close to beaches, restaurants shops etc if you choose.   I loved everything about this resort Accomodation was amazing, great privacy when sitting on patio out the back of villa. Loved the luxurious toiletries provided initially until we could go shopping. Upstairs and down stairs toilet and bathroom ..Wonderful!! Large kitchen area and a washing machine and dryer.. Small little private areas in the main pool and a great little "cave" under a beautiful waterfall that with the press of a butto - We spent our January holiday at the resort, it was a perfect accommodation for the family, my kids are teenagers and they loved the tennis courts, main pools with its water falls spa and surrounding, I enjoyed the gym, lap pool and the aqua activities early morning. My youngest son loved the coconut and mango trees, he was trying to open the coconut instead of playing e-games lol was funny to learn a new skill, and yes we had the chance to eat some fresh mangoes from the tree
