This is the third time that we have stayed here as a stopover on a drive from Sydney to Northern Gold Coast. Riverview Lodge is in a very pretty, quiet setting. There are two restaurants nearby or a pleasant riverside walk takes you to the bistro at the White Albatross pub where seafood is a speciality. Rooms are nicely furnished, warm and comfortable. The cooked breakfast is an added bonus. I would thoroughly recommend Riverview Lodge to anyone wanting a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of NS.

After touring Australia using hotels it was nice to have the excellent standard found in most English country BnBs. The idea place for anybody stay, wi-fi, off road parking, help with cases to room an extremely recommended place to stay. This really was a great place to stay. Staff were friendly, the room was immaculate and very clean. The bed was comfortable and it was a very quiet spot to stay. Breakfast was also great. We would recommend this place to others and also stay again ourselves. Our room was wonderful, the bed was so soft and comfortable, I wanted to take it home with me. The pillows were also very good quality and very comfortable, Breakfast was served promptly in your room and was still hot. Been here many Times over many years and have always had a relaxing and friendly experience. It's quiet with beautiful views in selected rooms and has excellent food available within walking distance. The couple managing the motel is extraordinarilly helpful, friendly and efficient. We liked the birds singing while eating breakfast on the private balcony. Splendid breakfast served to the room!. Friendliness of the mangers. We were not there long enough to actually find something that we didn't like about the place. the stairs. Access a bit difficult but OK. The only things which could have made it better was if the spa was working and perhaps if breakfast was offered a little later for those of us who like to sleep in. Bats stay on a few trees close to the house and they can make some noise at night. Wi fi very very slow. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing!. Driveway a bit steep but only minor complaint. The driveway. All was fine. What was not to like?. Nothing. Nothing at all. The weather. Nothing. Poor approach to property = narrow driveway and unmarked entrance.
