ALT Tower is a 7-minute drive from the Docklands and a 10-minute drive from Southern Cross Railway Station. The famous Yarra River is a 30-minute drive away.

It is the second time that I have stayed at ALT and it won't be that last. We had primary schooled aged kids and there is a community play ground across the road which was neat. Tram stop not far away as is a metro station. The apartments are new and modern though ours was so new the drier was still to be enstalled :) Secure car park for residence too. Unbelievable value for money. Cannot believe we got such a great view of the Melbourne skyline with the amount charged. The sunsets and sunrises from such a height were mesmerizing. Everything was neat and clean, parking was a plus. Overall bloody awesome. I have already recommended to a few friends and family.

I would recommend ALT Towers to anybody that is looking for a luxury apartment at tremendous value for money. My thanks again to Michael, Sam & all the other staff members who made our stay in Melbourne a great one. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, including a full sized fridge, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. We enjoyed using free wifi. Parking was secure and under cover. The room was quiet and the view was fantastic. We will come again next time we are in Melbourne. The apartment is fairly new with well designed and furnished rooms. It was a really comfortable night stay there. Although the staff is not always at the front desk, it will not take a while that long for the staff to show up either. The price is also fair enough. Great location for taking public transportation to Melbourne. Very clean, modern, secure, with adequate parking. Also appreciated the wi-fi, A/C, kitchen and washer/drier. Small cafe and food store is adjacent. Great views from this high rise. The location was great. Free parking was also beneficial. Supermarket right below the complex was handy. The sliding doors to the main bedroom were a great design. The view. It was quiet for such a big complex which is good. Modern, clean with parking and with tram at the front. Manager is very helpful and provided me with an additional night's accommodation when a vacancy became available. The unit has a great view of the city skyline. Absolutely perfect! Nice staff, New rooms, fantastic views, free WiFi, free secure parking, public transport nearby, just 15 min to flinders station Roof garden with barbecue and Melbourne's skyline. The front office staff were so friendly and helpful. The size of the room was good for what you pay for. Location was PERFECT seeing as we went to an event at The Melbourne Showgrounds. The location suited us and we were glad for the shop next door. Access in and out was easy and having free parking for the hire car was much appreciated. The manager provided exemplary service and facilities great for cooking (if you had time or small children). I like the convenience of it being central to local shops, restaurants etc... very secured property. Great views of the city, wonderfull staff, great apartments. THE place to stay in Melbourne. The freeway nearby but being from Central Oz Im spoilt for a peaceful arise and shine...bar the kids. But a very good place to stay and will do again. There is a bit sense of painting smell in the room and elevator, which is due to the short time since the apartment's lately establishment. Reception staff friendly but not always helpful. We asked for an extra bed to be put in our room for an extra guest on Saturday night but it was not provided. The couch was not suitable for the amount of guests the rom could have eg we had 3 people stay for 3 nights but the couch is only a 2 seater. Advertising said there were cable channels but we had none, just normal tv. Oven wasn't working but not a big deal...staff really takes care about the problems. The bathroom door (leading into the hallway) did not close, meaning we had to put a bed pillow on the inside of the door to keep it shut... The toaster was broken. We did tell the staff about these problems. Four days without cleaning was a bit much. Master bedroom was divided from sitting area with an opaque sliding glass door which could have been obstacle to sleeping if someone was watching TV. Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Hard getting in on arrival as letsbookhotel.com didn't send me the outside box PIN number to get the key. Our room not being available on our first night and having to stay at another hotel. Michael more then made up for it though. all good. front desk not always in attendance when needed. You would always like things a bit cheaper !. No one at Reception. Was not advised beforehand how to get into building. Once in, finding a car space is very confusing as spots are not in any numerical order. Room had not been cleaned properly as found leftover items beneath lounge from previous tenants. Although, once I spoke to staff they were helpful, communicating through sms is not how I would deal with the public. it was pretty good, nothing to complain about. Nothing. beds were like rocks, not enough blankets, could not adjust climate control easily. nothing!. More information on where to get breakfast if u didn't bring your own. When leaving I read the sign to put my key in the key box, left my suitcases at the front desk while I dashed back & became locked into the postal room as I still needed to get my suitcases from the front reception & the door had locked behind me. Microwave did not open in rm 1201 & pots a bit dirty. nothing. Reception rarely attended and closed Sunday. No servicing or restocking of room for the entire 4 night stay. Took 2 days and repeated requests to have bed delivered for 3rd guest. Public areas, including lifts, constantly soiled from spillage. In 5 days, never saw any cleaning staff. So disappointed.
