  It's just off the Kings Cross wasn't noisy at all. Downstairs in both sides super cute n very friendly little coffee shops with excellent service n superb breakfast. Hotel it self was smaller so not overcrowded clean nice decor with small kitchen n basic provided. Staff in reception very helpful always polite.   Very spacious and comfortable. I stayed to recover from surgery, and I could not fault it at all. I felt just as if not more comfortable than if I had stayed in my own house. So close to the city yet such such a quite location. Free parking was fantastic. They provided moccona coffee which was also a nice surprise.   My partner and I booked 4 nights here as it was a great price and location. We then extended 3 more nights as we really enjoyed it. Our room is nice and spacious with a Tv and balcony. Even though there are only ceiling fans we found it still did the trick and worked well! The breakfast was an added bonus with eggs, bacon, toast - We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but had no problem getting to our room. When we got to our room one of the builders who was helping to renovate the hotel said that we were unable to get into our room - so we got an upgrade to a family room for free! The staff we very apologetic. Our room was good as we were in a section on our own, rarely bumped into anyone at the shared bathroom. The TV has a great choice of channels.   I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. I liked the pool facility but thought the pool environment was not very attractive- a bit like a gym and I think it should look more resorty. The gym facility was very good. The internet access was exc - There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments. It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked. I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo

  The location was ideal for frequenting the local University of NSW. The cafes and shops in Randwick were very close by. The lodge is also close to the airport. The manager and staff were lovely and caring.
