However, the intimate and cozy feeling, plus the fine elegance of the deco all offer a nice and comfortable stay. Above all the staff were courteous and always made you feel welcome and as if we were regular customers to the hotel.   A great place to stay, The Harbour View Room was fantastic we were there for the Aust. Navy Fleet Review and did not need to leave the room to watch the fireworks and events. The staff were friendly and helpful. It seemed like our room was serviced every time we left it. We loved our stay. I recommend a harbour-view room suite. Some reviews had complained the hotel is dated. I wouldn't agree. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.

When we came back to collect our bags I asked if there was anywhere I could get changed (into travelling clothes). I was given a pass to the inhouse gym and told I could also use the shower. This was a fantastic service and I really appreciated being able to do this before a 24 hour flight home!
