we made a reservation based on a good rating, but were sceptic about because the pictures are not good. what a pleasant surprise: a nice, clean place with very nice patio and a pool, much better than shown in the pictures. The facilities were more than adequate for us. We were attending the Cornish festival and needed overnight accommodation. The motel, whilst a little away from the Kadina CBD suited.
kaikki arvostelut » This is the second time I have stayed at this motel, it is clean, pleasant and quiet. The gentleman who runs the facility is friendly and helpful. The large rooms and bathrooms, the internal brickwork and layout of the motel. Also the free in house movies! Great value. just what we needed after a hectic day, peaceful, quiet [except for grain trucks, but we are used to them] no hastles. my husband and i liked everything about the location and really enjoyed having a relaxing weekend. Close to Wallaroo and Moonta Spacious rooms with peacefull surroundings. Great for weekend away. Barely any road noise, tranquil setting. Nice meals with an interesting menu. nothing was to much trouble for the manager,perfect location for our needs. It was easy to check into my room. Absolutely no hassles with anything. Generous size of rooms, very clean, quite position & comfortable. Friendly service. Restaurant on site. Close to ferry at Walleroo. Quite location, restaruant onsite & swimming pool. Very clean & easy access to a spacious room . Close to Kadina and excellent for touring around. Nice gardens, good BBQ and swimming pool. We were in room 1 and when anyone, neighbours included, turned on the hot water the internal pipes would pop loudly and wake us up. Leaving. Bistro Food was excellent but the service was woefully slow. 2.5hrs for 2 cources. Unable to receive the Golden Chain discount because it had gone to letsbookhotel.com. Noisey inconsiderate neighbours in adjoining room who returned drunk at 4.00 am and talking/yelling loudly using expletives until about 5.30 am and disturbing sleep albeit no fault of the operators. Bad reception on T.V. Paying $6 for 3 hours internet. How is it that most of the cheaper motels can give this for free?. nothing. Nothing. It was a great place to stay. No mini bar. Needs updating. Bed was uncomfortable. Our room was not cleaned before the second night's stay. Didnt know it had a pool would have bought our bathers. The attached Bistro, the service was well below par, we had to wait over an hour for our meal, the food acceptable. television reception. Our room smelled a little musty. The vertical blinds did not adequately block out light, and this was a problem because our window faced the pool area. It seems that people can use this area at all hours, and turn on the external lights whenever they want. The light and noise made it difficult to sleep. We also found the room rather expensive, but is worth it if using the pool and bbq facilities. Pillows are hard as bricks, could do with more power points in the room. breakfast order was delivered scrambled eggs instead of poached eggs.
