We stayed in a sea view apartment on the 15th floor, it certainly had the wow factor as soon as you opened the door with breathtaking views across Burleigh Beach and the ocean beyond. The apartment had everything you needed for a short or extended break and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on our next trip to Australia. We loved the location, the view from our room was second to none. burleigh heads was perfect for us as it had a real community vibe and is close to all the action of surfers paradise. The rooms were well appointed and the staff courteous and friendly. We are already planning a return trip early in the new year and 2nd avenue will see our return patronage.

Excellent ocean views from our apartment, with whales passing most days in the distance. loved everything about 2nd Ave apartments. Close proximity to beach, lovely decorated suite - 3 bedrooms, fantastic views from wrap around balcony and withing walking distance to Burleigh town for coffee and food. Would definetly go back to this apartment. Fantastic location - right on the beach with ocean views. Close to local attractions, shops and restaurants. Having both indoor and outdoor pools is a bonus. We used the bbq area for a family get together - booking was easy, staff very helpful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Superb views and the apartment was very well equipped. Although way from Surfers Paradise everything was relatively easily accessible and lots of local eateries if you did not want to self cater. It was a very convenient, location to exit to other areas on the motorways. Nice cafes and places to eat within walking distance. Relaxed area compared to surfers paradise. Great to have an indoor and outdoor pool and spa. My wife and I stayed at 2nd Ave for a week Oct 2013. Was given 10th Floor Sea View. - Fabulous. Unit very nice and very close to Burleigh Shopping Centre. Some terrific Restaurants in the area. Great location metres from beach, spectacular views over ocean. Apartments are spacious and well fitted with large balcony . Good security systems throughout. From the moment I arrived, I was made welcome and what a surprise when I walked into the apartment.... so well appointed and spacious. I will be back. It has everything no matter what age you or your family are and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Views are great... Definately be back!. The size of the apartment, it was very spacious. The view was great, we can see the sun rise from our balcony which was spectacular. The location, and tasteful decoration of the rooms. The pools, and the immaculate state of all areas. Location is really good. Quite a bit of traffic noise due to busy location but this was easily controlled by closing windows when it became too intrusive. Free towels given for the spa and pool rather than having to pay would be nice. Nothing to fault enjoyed our stay. The airconditioning/heater was only at the dining area, and we were freezing in the bedroom which only has a fan. We need to keep the bedroom door opened for the heat to come in from the dining room heater. The shower area, the water pressure was too small and the shower head was fixed on the wall. We prefer if we can adjust the shower head. Matress too soft & not comfortable to sleep. It's not very convieniet for travelers without a car. Was not rested after stay as could hear road noise from highway. Felt uncomfortable that there was no window covering on ensuite window. Comfortable lay down sun chairs would have been great for relaxation. Nothing. waiting for elevator saturday morning when only one elevator was available and we are trying to take bags etc to car. Room a little old but would go back there. Nothing. More toilet paper for long stay bookings. access from the living space onto the veranda has a tricky step for kids - maybe just my kids are clumsy :). Nothing. Apartment badly needs new kitchen and bathrooms. Also some decent balcony furniture. Having stayed just before and just after in similarly priced properties/locations I wouldn't stay here but would return to burleigh.
