Air- conditioner worked well to keep the room cool.   We were posted to Darwin with the Navy from 1996-2000 and our oldest son was born there during that time. We always said we would go back to show him, it just took 13 years! The Quest was in an ideal position for shopping and other attractions. It was clean and comfortable.   Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. I requested a cot for my 6 month old daughter upon booking the room and it wast forgotten about (most hotels forget this). Valet parking was excellent and staff were available and helpful when i needed an extra hand to put pram and baby in the car. Very comfortable and felt welcome.   I loved the room and facilities. Our 2 bedroom apartment was very well equipped. I found staying in it very relaxing. The pool facilities at the hotel were great but we choose to walk across the road and use the pool at the Rydges resort as it was a bit more tropical and resort like! The staff were fantastic and very helpful at all times.   As a frequent business traveller there were many features I really liked. The size of the room, it's fit out with comfortable bed, chair and table to work on. I liked that there was a balcony and it was quiet.   It was in a good position and easy to get to places we wanted to see.Our first time to Darwin and we loved it.   We had 2 days in a unit with an excellent view of Stokes Hill wharf, and 1 day in a 'city view' room, which was significantly smaller, but still very acceptable. Only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, but there was a lot of facilities (tourism, eating) nearby. - The rooms were large and very clean.
