Bayhaven Lodge is located just 150 metres from the beach and 'The Wreck', one of Byron’s most popular surf breaks. The guesthouse is just 2 minutes' walk from Byron Bay's main beach and the town centre. This fully renovated property offers a Balinese-style garden with a BBQ and sun loungers. There is a communal kitchen where you can prepare a tasty meal, as well as a shared lounge area, the perfect place to relax after a long day. The air-conditioned guest rooms feature modern interiors with artworks by local artists. Each includes dimmable lighting and remote control ceiling fans. All rooms offer a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Wi-Fi is available. Bayhaven Lodge is a 30-minute drive from Ballina Airport and 45-minute drive from Gold Coast Airport. Free parking is provided on site.

The location of the lodge is only 3-5 minutes walk from the centre of Byron and the beach. Staff were friendly and responsive. Location to Byron town. Not much other than the location was convenient. Bathroom and shower are small. Pictures are a bit deceiving as room is smaller than the pictures make out. The website did not clearly indicate accommodation was shared living space - very misleading and overpriced for share accommodation.
