We have visited Brisbane several times, and this was the best hotel we have stayed in. The rooms are spacious,nicely furnished and very comfortable - and, given the extremely central location, amazingly quiet. This is an hotel without that 'just another hotel room' feel. The staff were lovely too. Good cafe just outside the door for excellent breakfasts, and you can put them on your room bill. We will definitely stay here again.
kaikki arvostelut » Stepping into the 2 bedroom sub penthouse room was a step back in time and complete luxury. We loved the plush furnishings, the large space, functionality and elegant decor. The position is perfect, on the corner of Queen street mall yet no street noise. The paper delivery each morning was a nice touch as was fresh milk in the fridge. We would recommend the Royal Albert (especially the sub pent house apartments) to all. The staff were extremely helpful. I had to change room due to a 'double booking' and they were most apologetic, moved my belongings for me and gave me a complimentary bottle of wine for the inconvenience...I Really could not say anything negative about this hotel...or the staff.The beds were really comfortable, the linen was good quality and the rooms spotless/ clean.Excellent stay, would definitely book again !. This my 2nd stay at the Royal Albert and what a treat it was. The staff are so obliging, the rooms are big, plush and very clean and comfortable. The hotels position is unbeatable and valet parking a wonderful bonus. And what a treat to have my bags delivered to my room on arrival and then collected and packed into my car on departure. One satisfied visitor, thank you Royal Albert. I particularly liked the spaciousness and comfort of the room, the furnishings, the inner city location so close to the Myer Centre and the King George Square Bus Terminal. The facilities were ideal for me to attend a National Conference at QUT, Kelvin Grove. The room was so quiet yet in the very heart of the bustling City. Hotel 2-bedroom suite with kitchen with excellent facilities. Room itself had huge high ceilings and was a good sized room. Staff were very friendly and helpful (we left our passports in another hotel and the hotel helped with this). Location of hotel was also great - walking distance to restaurants, shops etc. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel it was excellent. It's been fully restored to a high standard has a really nice character with big spacious nicely equipped rooms and a great location and super French cooking all for a great price I got on letsbookhotel.com for 5 nights. I would definitely stay there again. Stayed 4 nights met all staff, very professional, friendly, nothing a problem, great people. The hotel rooms are apartment style and are absolutely magnificent. All I can say is that at sometime everyone should hang the expense and have a weekend in one of the higher floor suites, breathtaking. Spacious serviced apartments in a lovely old hotel which was full of character. The location, right in the centre of Brisbane, was fantastic. One of the receptionists, Yasmin, was extremely helpful and getting a taxi to the airport in the wee hours wasn't a problem. Staff were so helpful, friendly and always smiled and greeted you when they saw us. Sarah was wonderful with her assistance with directions /instructions on getting to the Royal Albert, and also to and from the airport. Location is so central to the city centre. We only stayed here for one night. The room we stayed in was really spacious and the bathroom was nice and large with great water pressure in the shower. Although the room was dated as others have mentioned, it was really clean and comfortable. The front staff was friendly and very welcoming. The penthouse suite seemed really good value for what was a huge luxury apartment. A real treat even though we only stayed a night on the way to the airport (easily reached). Could not fault this Hotel as it was everything we were looking for during our short stay in BNE City. The decore is excellent, room size hgreat, design brilliant The w/end price of $150 was unbelievable. Location was excellent, complimentary newspaper was really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. A coffee machine would have been a nice addition to the room. No negative comment!. Fellow guests coming and going with the slamming of doors. My only criticism was the lack of a hand rail over the raised bath to assist me when I needed to step out of the shower. This would not be an issue for a younger person. The large double bed is a bit small much prefer a queen or king. Nothing. The first receptionist who greeted me was useless. When checking out they only had one person on the front desk and one other person looking after the carpark. Being a Sunday there were a lot of people checking out, it would be better to have someone running the carpark and both staff members on the front desk (with more than one computer). The lift walls need a good polish, but the rest made up for it. Not applicable - I loved it. nothing it was great. A sometimes hesitant lift. Nothing. Paying for internet access (although they did give us two passwords for the price of one). Internet kept dropping out. However, great recovery by the staff, they fully refunded what we had paid to access and to pass the issue on. Really need an effective internet to check up on business during the holiday. There was nothing that was wrong. I was very pleased with everything. We have probably been 4 times to stay, and I think this could be acknowledged- instead of being asked if you had stayed before. Would just make you feel a little more special as a guest. All good. nothing. There was nothing that we didn't like. Lifts were a bit dirty. Construction across the road..generator kept me awake..hotel contacted blders and they denied they were working!!However, there was no more noise and the problem solved. Was not the fault of the hotel. Due to elevator upgrades only 1 was operational. However, when we were checking in, that one was down. decided to walk up the 5 floors with our hand luggage - not a good idea. Of course, our large cases were delivered 2 minutes after we entered our room!. There's nothing that I don't like but most often we stay at Oak's Festival Towers as we can often get a deal for $135 pn so obviously we take up this offer. That there were no balconies. Nothing really. Extra charges for WI FI and parking added to the bill. Really bad cracked tile in the bathroom that moved everytime you walked across them. Expensive dining facilities.I would have preferred a larger bath/shower. wifi did not work in room 305. Move outside the door into the corridor, and it did! very annoying and at $40 for the week. The only disappointment is the lift.When I was leaving,the lift got some problems during the ride.Fortunately,the staff solved the problems at once. all good. Having to leave!.
