We liked that it was close to our destination for a Saturday night wedding. We were very appreciative of Rupet who did reimburse us for parking at Novotel and received a car spot. The staff were very friendly on the Friday and Saturday but not so talkative on the Sunday as new staff were on. love the country cottage theme. And the fill in couple where excellent congratulations to Colin and Co. I would recommended this place to the traveller who needs a nice and lonely place to stay a home away from home.

The Staff makes you feel like a family member. Reaching the Hotel 10:45 pm on friday night, Gentleman owner opened the door at the slightest knock, calling me by my name. It never happened before!!. Very friendly staff ready to help with any questions. Central location, walking distance to Brisbane centre. Preferred this place to a much more expensive 4* hotel we stayed at 2 weeks earlier. The hosts are totaly nice and friendly. The building has its personal charm and we had a very good night's sleep. If you like it small and traditional, then this is your perfect place to stay. Very friendly staff who go the little bit extra to help with information,travel tips,suggestions etc.Value for money,centrally located,very clean,I would definately stay there againnot . Cracking little establishment. Lovely staff and a friendly atmosphere. For a man traveling by himself this was a superb place to stay as you got the chance to talk to other travellers. Excellent location close to town center, free parking, quite good continental breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, nice old fashion decoration (like typical English B&B). This establishment is clean, comfortable and budget priced. Its location is convenient through the day when there is local transport available but there is no transport after dark. The staff were amazing.....the main man Tony was as friendly as they come and nothing at all was too much trouble. I would stay at this place again without a shadow of a doubt. It was easy-going. Even though I was catching a 6.30 train and didn't expect the Breakfast part of B&B it was there And i Liked the free bus which got me down to Queen st. the friendly atmosphere handy to main shopping center rail station and bus service. comfortable and clean and nice helpful people running it. Very disappointed in the description of letsbookhotel.com. nothing one of the best places I have stayed in a long. time. shared bathroom. Some road traffic noise but went quiet around bedtime, nothing to worry about. Nothing. Tiny washing basin in the room, payable WiFi. Lack of transport after dark. Not being offered breakfast when its included in the price. I felt I should have been giving the makings of breakfast as I had to leave before the breakfast was served. Perhaps another toilet wouldn't go amiss on the first floor. Nothing. nothing. The room was rather small but okay for one person, two nights :-). Not the hotels fault but it is at the top of a very steep hill The place is on a main rd - so a bit noisy in the mornings. Same breakfast every day ..though it was my best meal of whole day... No complaints. There is no toilette in the room and no elevator in the premises. As guest house was fully booked during my stay it was not always easy to get access to shared bathroom in the morning. shared showers/toilets wasnt clear on the booking , but very hot even if your in last one in and work fine, so in the end it wasnt a problem. Nothing. Rooms could do with a little updating but apart from the was impressed. Only television is in the dining room. Nothing. Sometimes the other patrons are not very thoughtful when sharing the amenities and keeping noise down. Mattress was a bit past. The climb up Upper Edward Street to get there in weekends (weekdays there's a bus). Small rooms. Pretty basic, but good for the cost!. Rooms that front the main road could do with new windows to lessen the traffic noise. Shared bathroom. my room was at the front upstairs - noisy on a Saturday night I needed a restful sleep as I was attending a workshop all day on Sunday. Did not have any enterntainment in the room. Should have a small telivision. traffic noise. Shared bathroom. Noisy in the morning.
