We stayed in the hotel as we had been evacuated from the lower mountains bacause of a fire in our vicinity. We liked the ambience,and the deco of the hotel and rooms. We obtained a special price which resulted in excellent value for money. We liked the close proximity to the cricketers arms hotel where we enjoyed a good well priced meal and great entertainment. If we can get a similar deal we would definately stay there again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Modern decor. Great style Bar staff were great Great breakfast. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I like everything about the hotel. found the staff to be fantastic !. The layout with the pool, bar etc. Free internet. the whole. The rooms are great!. Nothing to dislike. Only 2 towels provided for a 3 person booking. Had to ask for extra towel 2 days in a row. 2 Coffee pods supplied in room - no plain old coffee sachets, very limited sugar. Pods & sugar not replenished on the second day..housekeeping needs more training. No simple snack food such as a basic sandwich - and because of hotel location, nowhere close to get one. Available snacks were not child friendly...too sophisticated. The $50 deposit and it taking ages to get returned especially if u stay on the weekend. Also the room was clean but not the toilet seat it had urine on it that was gross to find. Teething issues Power had to be turned on by a staff member A/C did not work and staff couldn't rectify. Poor light in bathroom. Wifi wasn't working well for me. No tooth paste The room was on ground level Looked a bit industrial rather then a suite 2 single beds pushed together and claimed as a king bed. There wasn't enough coffee/milk/sugar provided. Although we booked for two adults and two children, there was only two bath towels provided. needed more lighting in the bathroom for ladies to put make up on. The light in the bathroom kept going off. Sinks in bathroom didn't really catch the water out of the tap. Front of house got booking wrong booked two rooms only ended up with one . Beer warm from bar ,different bar staff different pricing for drinks. it was opening night though just teething problems . Service, staff, information provided poor!!! Very in experienced people!!! No signs to know where to go. Check in and check out, a joke!!!!. Bookings.com had wrong map on website. 20 minutes to check in. Electronic key would not work. It took 40 minutes to get access to my room. Lock was not fixed while dining and had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get access. Steak meal under cooked and had to be sent back. Additional items had been added to bar tab when checking out. Location is too isolated with no shops within walking distance. Mini bar not re- stocked during the visit. No soap in room. When we asked for a room with the view on the swimming pool we had a room with the view on the parking and the deliveries! The staff didn't propose anything to change it. We had a room with no couverts, are we supposed to eat with our fingers? They took a bond (50$), it is the first time I had to pay a bond in a hotel! Anyway, it was very expensive for the room we had. We will not come back for sure!.
