  We liked just about everything.....the air conditioning didn't quite reach the bedroom and the bedroom didn't open onto the balcony.....window only, not sliding door. Other than that everything was excellent and very well worth the stay. - Very close walk to town - great location. Excellent value for money. Very helpful with booking tours.   Stayed 3 nights with my cousin from Scotland, found the staff to be very professional and extremely helpful in regard to booking our activities and recommending places to eat. I would recommend Water's Edge Resort.   rooms were great with all facilities available lovely balcony with bi fold doors great during the heat food and all amentities were wonderful staff very friendly and helpful - The staff were excellent and very helpful. The apartments were wonderful and had a huge jacuzzi bathtub. The breakfast buffet was also very good.

  We received a very warm welcome from owner Bernie, who helped us with local information. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a very pleasant balcony area, which overlooked the pool and lush gardens. Breakfast was good too, a fair variety of items. A short walk lead to the main shopping area and beaches, but the hotel was far enough aw... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ay to ensure a good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. I would definitely go back to Airlie Beach and back to the Colonial Palms hotel. - Great facilities - lovely pool, washer and dryer and free wifi with a PC in lobby for guests to use and even a printer. We were able to leave our car parked at the hotel during our trip tithe Whitsundays. A nice continental breakfast was included every day and when we had an early departure, we were given a breakfast tray for our room! The staff were very friendly and helpful as was the owner.
