  This is hostel/hotel, but with the hotel room you wouldn't feel like you were in a hostel. Hotel rooms are all en suite and very spacious and clean with aircon and the best hot powerful shower! Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  Scala was a wonderful place to stay, the staff was warm and friendly and accommodating to our poorly-spoken Spanish. The price through letsbookhotel.com was unbelievably inexpensive for the high caliber and lovely accommodations we had. The rooms were clean and had every amenity you could want. We highly - The room and bathroom were both large. The room had french doors opening to a view over the city and the Scala outdoor patio below. The room had a table and two chairs. There are many restaurants very close to the hotel so you don't have to travel far (especially when dinner isn't until 9 pm or later). The subway is only a block away. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
