The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Even though, out of convenience, we were travelling with backpacks, were were not at all treated like 'backpackers' (as we were at another 4-star hotel we stayed at during our trip). The location of the hotel is excellent. San Telmo is a lovely neighbourhood to expore and this hotel makes a great base. Breakfast was good at it was great to have a nice Nespresso coffee. In the early evening we could relax on the rooftop terrace. We really felt like we had excellent value for money at San Telmo Luxury and will certainly stay here every time we are in Buenos Aires.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating
The price was a bit high
Cosy bedroom, good breakfast, excellent service
Small shower San Telmo is nice but not the safest area
Hotel architecture provides an insight of traditional houses in Buenos Aires. Interesting renovation. San Telmo is the best neighborhood to be in Buenos Aires, especially when you originate from Europe
Breakfast is poor, freshness of materials may improve Poor internet within room Natural lighting of rooms at the ground floor
Décor chic and confortable; staff excellent, friendly, and helpful.
Perfectly renovate luxury apartment! This extremely well appointed duplex apartment with underfloor heating and an extremely comfortable king size bed has the perfect location to explore San Telmo with the most helpful and informative staff we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Don't miss out on the television/lounge room under the bar/breakfast room!
We loved everything
Beautiful apartment. Excellent service. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Great location.
The fountain in the corridor was very pretty to see but a little noisy in the night when everywhere was silent.
Rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. Very good location, at walking distance from the city centre and from the heart of San Telmo.
Staff should be better prepared to provide touristic information. Breakfast should have more variety for the price paid.
It is the kind of hotel that makes you feel like you are in Buenos Aires. The whole house is decorated with fine and very good taste. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is located in a very good spot of San Telmo neighbourhood. Also convenient to hold business meetings with nice and isolated space. Highly recommended!
The bathroom could be more modern. You can here the voices of the other guests who are in the patio. Rooms don't get much day light but the lighting inside the room is well planned.
Old typical "casona" with a modern touch refurbishing. Excellent location for night and day walking distance activities. Very good value for money
Can have better common areas like a little pool or a bar to interact with other hotel guests
Staff were exceptional. Friendly kind attentive nothing was too much trouble .room was lovely and ultra clean. Breakfast was excellent
Air con didn't seem to cool room that much
Excellent duplex.
Checkout 10:00. No outside window in my apartment.
Excellent breakfast, great design, very nice hotel. The staff was very nice and attentive.
They air conditioner did not work properly in my room. They changed me, but the air still didn't work properly. It was very hot during the night, it got quite uncomfortable. They lost my phone charger when cleaning the room, but they were able to retrieve it from the laundry, it got caught up in the dirty linen. A little upsetting.
Location is great, they had a feria on the street just outside the hotel on Sundays, which was nice. Some of the staff were very friendly and some had a strange attitude Feels safe Clean and nice interior
The walls are very thin so you hear every word / sound from the outside, lobby etc. in the building. The internet did not work in the room as promised although highlighted several times.
The location is perfect, and the architecture of the building is amazing. The rooms are very nice and comfortable
Nothing
Friendly staff that go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. English speaking and only blocks from Capital but snuggled away from the hussle bustle. Several wonderful places to eat within the block. Very unique rooms.
No elevator. Loved everything else!
The suites are very spacious, especially the superior suite which has a bathroom on the loft level. The hotel was adjacent to great San Telmo eclectic shopping as well as fabulous restaurants. The Sunday market was just outside of our door.
The majority of the staff were very friendly and accomodating however there was one older gentleman who worked the night shift who wouldn't even acknowledge us when we entered the hotel. Perhaps it was because he didn't speak one word of English, but he wouldn't even respond to our "hola" either. At night the area can feel like Gotham City though, however we did not encounter any danger. I also didn`t like the fact that we had to pay extra for a child to sleep on the sofa bed.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We loved our room and enjoyed the nice morning breakfast.
Location staff and design
Wifi a bit patchy and intermittent
Small botique type hotel. Friendly staff. Good location in San Telmo area. Clean and unique design. Rooms unusual with one floor up/one floor down (this set-up not good for elderly couples or children)
Breakfast is sparse and not up to standards at similar hotels. Room on main floor is noisy and somewhat uncomfortable. Lack of elevator problematic for elderly and those with children.
The hotel is in a restored building and the design is pretty nice. The staff is also very kind.
If you are looking for a hotel to relax and have a good sleep, this is NOT the right choice. The hotel is very, very noise, and I could only sleep after going out to buy an ear plug, which I used on both nights in order to sleep. The cool environment does not worth the bad sleep, but if you are looking for a place to stay after coming back from Buenos Aires' night to recover from hangover, that's fine. I would come back only if they solve the issue with the noise.
