we have been on a motorcycle tour across spain ,France and decided to go to Andorra. despite the place being very remote it was worth it. We found it very luxurious - having to say we are not the most demanding people- nevertheless we were most pleasantly surprised with the overall customer service offered without coming across as fake. the food was lovely and plentyful and you could always ask for more. The place was very tranquil in any way .with beautyful views all round. We stayed in room 2.
kaikki arvostelut » A magnificent setting. The high spot of our road-trip holiday. The entire hotel was well appointed. Astonishingly friendly welcome and English spoken. Nothing was too much trouble. They will even fetch you from the valley in their landrover if it is snowy. Free parking. Chosen for a finishing point on the 2013 Vuelta de Espagne cycle race. Quite where they put everyone I don't know. An unbelieable location with the best customer service I've experienced in a hotel setting in quite some time. Absolutely stunning views and a 5 star quality restuarant. Innkeepers were very helpful and friendly. The hotel room, although in a building well over 100 years old, was very modern and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this location. We love the food cooked by the multi-talented chef, Roxane. She always does her best to make us feel welcome and have an enjoyable stay. The view was majestic. We rode on a bike up to the hotel and it was an interesting ride as we had to manage the sharp bending road uphill and downhill. The views outside the Parador is just fantastic! Probably the most beautiful mountain views I've seen in Andorra. Our suite is spacious and clean. It's very quiet at night. Breakfast is also plenty, though a bit greasy. The road to the Parador is challengingly steep, but worth-while. Very friendly and helpful owners. The hotel is more a restaurant with a few charming rooms, set on it`s own at 1,400 mts high in the mountains, up a 4km. road with hairpin bends. Very peaceful with magnificent views, comfortable, and good food. Roxana and her family could not have been more delightful, and was happy to speak in English, Spanish, French and probably Russian, for all I know! Excellent accommodation, delicious food, beautiful location. Highly recommended. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there. Roxanne is a wonderful, welcoming host and her cooking is amazing. The suite was clean and comfortable, and the views outstanding. The location, the property, and the view are amazing. But above all of that, the owner and her food are to die for. Most amazing dinner we had in our entire trip. Fantastically welcoming host, keen to meet our needs. Stunning views; absolute peace and tranquility. Fabulous food. Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. Food was excellent. Location was outstanding if you like mountains, great scenery and hiking. Hostess was very friendly anc welcoming. The remote setting is beautiful, perfect for bird watching and hiking. Gorgeous location, very remote, private, quiet. Proprietors are so warm, kind and accommodating. Beautiful! The last few km of road is quite extreme, especially in rain storm!. Exceptional hosts Rosana and Joseph who looked after us extremely well. Everything, including the road to climb to the hotel!. Location, food, surroundings and view, nice rooms. The fantastic panorama and the staff. just quite lovely owners. Amazing. Nothing. None. Nothing really. If you don´t like hairpin bends, this is going to be tricky for you! Like much of Andorra, it´s built high on the side of a steep mountain. No problem for us but some may appreciate a warning. Loved everything. The road to the hotel is a bit challenging though. No tea and coffee making facilities in room. The bed was not all that comfortable. N/a. Everything perfect. I regret that I stayed only one night.
