  We paid a bit more and had a wonderful room with balcony overlooking Sausalito harbour. If you are into boats or even if you're not this is a lovely place to explore: pretty with great views towards San Francisco but without the rather hectic pace of the big city. Fire place in cabin rooms. I felt at home. Wonderful. Location incredible, unbeatable.Special mention of Wendy and Sol: Incredibly freindly and eager to please. Sausalito is an incredible place to stay after a fiew days in the city. Very relaxing.

  I have to admit the Cavallo far exceeded our expectations. They are a fantastic jewel with an old world comfort and ambiance and excellent staff. - I loved the location! So scenic. The room was comfortable and they let me in early. I was there for a special event so it was convenient, too.
