  The room we were given was 301 which is on the corner of the building so we got two windows to see the beach! We had booked an ocean view room and the view from our balcony was of Scripps park, a cave, the beach and all the silly sea lions and pelicans. The rooms are a little out of date in style but they are comfortable and the breakfast is borin... lo que la gente dice » g but is served on the roof!!! The staff here is amazing...we were driving around San Diego and not familiar with the area and they were always happy - The location couldn't have been better; I liked that they had a ready supply of fresh coffee in the lobby and that they had bathrooms on a couple of floors so we didn't have to go all the way back to the room if we were already out; the balcony and view were all they promised and the beds were comfortable and clean. They held our bags for us before and after check out and that is big plus for us. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again soon and probably for years to come.

  We were pleasantly surprised to find the location was within walking distance to Belmont Park. We were also able to rent bikes and cruise the boardwalk as well as the bay. We rented a kayak and tootled around the bay. The room was comfortable and quiet. At check in, the clerk gave us all kinds of helpful info and answered all questions. All in all, it was a great trip. - Loved the location, easy to get to the Zoo and Seaworld. Pool area and spa was fantastic, quiet place to relax and enjoy a drink while the kids are in the pool!! Room lovely and great having the separate lounge area. We have been travelling around California for the last few weeks from New Zealand and this hotel is voted the kid's favourite so far!!

  Accommodations are very nice. I like that when we ordered room service and they got the order wrong. They did not argue with us, they just handled it promptly.   Was greeted at check-in with a glass of white wine. Just what I needed after a long day at work! The staff are happy and have great personalities.
