My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate our anniversary and just had
a beautiful time at The Pearl. The staff was amazing, friendly and
helpful. The food at eat was just to die for as well as their drinks. We
absolutely loved our room and the decor in it. Everything was just

Great rooms, large and spacious. Huge hot breakfasts daily. Staff at front desk were extremely helpful. Hotel was close to all major sites if you have a car. Laundry facilities were available which was great after a week of travelling. -

The rooms were large and the bed and bedding were first rate. Also, the amenities including free WiFi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker with Starbucks. The grounds were quite lovely as well. And all the staff were friendly and attentive. Also, the location in La Jolla was very good. About 4 miles from the scenic village, and near lots of stores, restaurants, shopping areas.

I'm from Australia and i was staying at another hotel near Beverly Hills and payed a fortune to stay there with no breakfast/horrible service. When we came to this hotel to come to SeaWorld the lady at the front desk was very lovely and told us all the popular places to eat and things to see near the hotel and pointed out discounts and sightseeing

I loved the location of this Vagabond Inn. A friend and I took our dogs
to ocean beach for the weekend and stayed here. While it was a 10-min
drive to ocean beach, it was within walking distance of the marina
"boardwalk" type area and shelter island. The room itself was
clean, yes the furniture needs upgrading but for the $ we spent, it was

How small and accessible it is...didn't have to lug suitcases down long hallways .

The place was within walking distance of where we wanted to spend most of our time. Fairly quite but a few kids seemed to be having a good time. Beds were comfortable and the bath seemed recently remodeled (even granite counter top) with a huge shower where, I suspect, the tub use to be, which was fine for us.
We will no doubt return one day, especially since, for the location, the price was pretty reasonable.

When you take everything into consideration, this place is a good value
for a budget motel. Michael, Raul and Michael were helpful and
considerate - they even let me keep my bags in the office after I
checked out, since my train wasn't scheduled until 4 pm.

Very helpful staff. Clean, beautiful layout with 2 pools overlooking Mission Bay / marina. Very relaxing environment. I look forward to returning. We went to the FireFly bar (got in about 9:30 pm) and did not go to any other restaurant/bar. We left our car there the next day as we went to Sea World - walking distance and there is a shuttle.
