The hotel is lovely, nice rooms, comfy bed. They gave us a complimentary room upgrade for our honeymoon. They are renovating at the moment so I imagine it will be more modern look in the future. The pool and beach are fantastic and loved the pool bar. Cocktails delicious! -

It was all the little extras that Travaasa did that sold me! The sandalwood soap, the quality of shampoo and rinse, the soap dish and toothbrush holder. The staff were exemplary!Always going out of their way to insure we had the best care possible!

Loved the adult infinity pool and that our room was a few feet away. We had an awesome oceanfront room that was very close to the pool. The pool side staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Front desk was freindly and helpful. Maid service was good too. -

Location was perfect. View was superb. Pool, restaurants, cafes, rooms are all fantastic. Easy access to beach right in front of hotel as well as own private beach area. Excellent poolside bar. Hotel has own bus area to the side where most of the tour buses pick up. Would highly recommend it. -

Variety of pools suited all ages. Children of all ages were well catered for and hence adults were able to enjoy the location and amenities and relax, I especially loved my visits to the adults only pool. Our room was fantastic, the beds exceptionally comfortable. The beach was beautiful and I loved having breakfast in the Grand dining room. -

Forget the reviews about how it takes a long time to get anywhere - plot courses of shortest distances on the map they give you and only use tram / boat for novelty. Awesome bridges and islands around lagoon tend to be shortest route(s).

The place is beautiful! It really is quite impressive. Lots of things to
do. You really don't ever even have to leave the resort. But if you
want to one of my favorite beaches Hapuna is right up the road. I also
really liked the products they had in their bathroom so much so I bought
some to take home with me.

The hotel is extremely beautiful, in an amazing location, perfectly maintained, and the service was impeccable. A friend had recommended staying in the original building. The pool and location were amazing. We lounged around the pool almost every day and enjoyed the friendly service of the waitress that passed by. The hotel is right on the beach and a very short walk to Whaler's Village (a shopping mall). If that is not enough stores, Lahaina has more and the Westin provides a shuttle service that leaves every hour

This is Hawaii's Hawaiian Hotel. We had a room on the main floor, garden view, room 178 (smoking outside). It didn't face the large area of the garden, but it did have a small garden outside our room. We enjoyed it more because it was secluded. You could see the ocean through the trees. I stayed 5 nights at the hostel and it was great! Roommates are from different places of the world and most of them are very friendly and I made a lot of friends there. It was October and not so noisy as I expected in the night, which was good, and it was fairly convenient and economic for a backpacker to stay. Mostly importantly, the location was extremely good and it was just a couple of minutes to the beach.
