The rooms are a good size and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If you have children, you cannot beat this hotel! The *free* included water park, large 2nd pool, and hot tub are a must for the kids at the end of the day. The pools accomodate babies thru adults, something for everyone. The hotel is very centrally located to many restaurants, the mall, easy I90 access, walmart/target.
todo comentarios » We were visiting family in Rapid City and the hotel's indoor Water Park proved to very popular with the entire family. The hotel helped to make it a great weekend in Rapid City. The Sunday Brunch was also very good. Had some car problem. They provided us transportation between the hotel and the car service provider in a very short notice. Bravo!. Dual pools, having waterpark is great, but so is the standard swimming pool; both were used extensively by our family. My wife and I had a great time chatting with Ken (the gentleman running the water slides). The room was very clean. nice, big pool to swim, friendly staff, had a suite for a good price, booked on internet. We loved the pool and the restaurant was great too, staff was awesome!. The pool/waterpark was great! The room size was great too!. It was a very beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay. pool and water park. Restaurant. desk service. water park and closeness to interstate. room clean, food good, freinly staff. water park and pool comfortable room. Proximity to I-90 and dining. The Waterpark. I loved that the hotel had everything right there; pool, resturant, bar, casino, and nearby attractions (Mount Rushmore). The food was excellent and my son loved the pool. The staff was friendly and happy to be of any kind of assistance. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. We had a lot of space to move around in the room. The cost of the rooms was reasonable. The water park. The room. nothing. The water park was a nice feature. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The idea of the watermark was what drew us there. The location. Water park. No fridge in room (although you can request one); No breakfast (they do have a very expensive restaurant attached). The size of the property is both a positive and a negative. The room looked nothing like the pictuers, We booked a romantic suite. It was suppose to have a garden tub and french doors by the picture. It had neither. Just a regular standard tub. room a bit dark. The floor was a little slippery when going back and forth between pools, wish there were "specials" at the Restaurant- kind of pricey...the bathroom needs a fan... Our room wasn't cleaned between our 2 night stay. We left our room around 11am and were gone the rest of the day and it was never cleaned. Noise...kids running in hall. hotel to chopped up hard to navagate, hard to get contack with staff after hours. small hot tub. The odd smell in the common spaces. They had two reservations for one night instead of the one reservation for two nights, but they corrected it on the spot. No elevator. There were unsupervised children running all over the hotel till late in the night. Also when I took my son swimming later in the evening (8:30 pm) there were no towels available and the restroom was disgusting. There were many under-age children in the pool with no supervising adults. Last, the water in the jacuzzi looked dirty. We were disappointed in the waterpark. The waterpark was in fair condition. One of the slides in the children's area was broken in half. The water cannons on the pirate ship were not working. We paid extra to be in a hotel with an indoor waterpark and we thought the park was not worth the increase in price. Also the water was not heated and quite chilly. Some things in waterpark were broken Long Walk from our room to waterpark. I had ordered a handicaped (wheelchair assessable and they did not have one and at first they could not even provide a shower chair but when I told them if they didn't even have a shower chair than I could not stay where I couldn't even shower. Very Pricey. The watermark area wasn't safe. There was a lot of water on the floor that caused a lot of people to slip. The towels were out on both sides and were not refilled for the hour that we were in either area. Room didn't match picture or description. They kept trying to over charge me I caught several errors on my bill. They attempted to overcharge us twice for about 200.00 bucks. Noisy place. The restaurant got food posioning. noise from hwy, dust in nooks and corners, no refrig, dirty curtains, unhygienic comforters. there was no lock on the bathroom door. The front desk staff was extremely rude and uneducated on how their hotel is ran. The hot tub was dirty, it had a layer of filth floating in it and a ring of dirt around the edges, we had an issue with kids playing in the hall until 1am and the staff was unwilling to do anything about it. I have 3 kids from 1-9 and couldn't get them to sleep bc of this. Overall i would rate this hotel a 1 star!. Room was not what was pictured on the hotel website. Water park and pool area was so slippery that it was a danger to get around. They did not have my reservation that I made through letsbookhotel.com but instead of helping me right away, they checked in at least 6 other guests that arrived after I did. Very disappointed in the front desk customer service. The carpet in our room was filthy and felt damp the whole time we were there and there was too much chlorine in the water park. The wi-fi was not very strong in our room. There was only one chair in the room which is kind of weird. Dirty and old!.
