This was a fantastic hotel for a nyc break. 10 minutes from time
square and just down the road from Hell's Kitchen Flea Market at
the weekend (a must visit). Excellent staff willing to help at all
times. Room was ideal, perfect for 2 people sharing..when people
suggest they are too small I wonder want they want the room for? This
was a city break

The location, staff, and cleanliness of the room. Excellent all around!
The location is a few blocks from The Port Authority Bus They don't
do room service every day, but if you need anything (towels, trash taken
out, dishwashing soap, etc.) the staff is super responsive and so nice!
The kitchen comes with pots, pans, and storage dishes so we could cook
in some nights and save a bit of money. We would stay here again in a
heartbeat.

At the desk, Dennis verified my information quickly and was quite friendly (I've been to enough hotels in NYC to recognize when I'm not a "room number" [based on the amount I have paid for a room] vs a "real person" [treated as if it didn't matter which room I paid for. Stayed here for a couple of days before dropping my daughter to summer
camp. The staff here are so welcoming and bend oer backwards to please.
We were upgraded upon arrival. The rooms and bathrooms in this hotel are
huge compared to most rooms in Manhattan and the decor is funky yet
comfortable. The location is fabulous. 3 minutes to Grand Central
Station and about 10 minutes to Macys. I love this hotel so much that
I'm going back in 3 weeks to stay for a week!!!

I like everything about our stay at the Hampton Inn at 35th St. All of the staff from the desk reception, maintenance and cleaning staff were very friendly and professional! I selected Hampton Inn because, as a former Hilton hotels employee, I
knew what I was going to get. I appreciate the early check in, the late
check out, and, more importantly, thank you for honoring my request for
a crib, it made a huge difference! Jane at the front desk was amazing!

We came to New York overnight by bus, and arrived at 8am. It was cold so we went to the hotel to see if we could get an early check-in and warm up. The staff was absolutely amazing and did everything they could for us--including finding a room at that early hour. The room was clean and very comfortable.

We came to marry in nyc and sent in advance a request to be on an upper floor. We were immediately replied and we were upgraded to a corner room.
Upon our arrival we were welcomed by champagne in our beautiful room, and were also given treats later on.

The Standard. The staff was so service minded and helpful 24/7! I
asked for a room on a high floor and we ended up with the most amazing
view which made our trip unforgettable. Even though the lobby and
restaurant was under construction the experience the hotel as a whole
was very satisfying. It did not bother us at all. I will recommend this

The lobby is comfortable and attractive. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had a problem the first night--smoke detector battery signal went off with a voice warning of low battery. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance to Times Square and to two separate subway lines which run 24hours. Sights such as MoMa and Rockefeller Plaza are walking distance away.
The room, bed linens and bathroom towels were clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. Rooms were cleaned Dailey and towels refreshed daily a well.
Staff was helpful and friendly. The queen room accommodated my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us any information we wanted. They also organised taxis - at a rate negotiated by the hotel which was cheaper than the regular taxi rate and stored our luggage (checkout time is the usual 12.00) and we weren't leaving New York until the evening. Perfect place to visit nyc and sleep after an exhausting day. The room
was small and the mattress quite hard but we slept like babies. It was
cleaned and the towels in the ensuite bathroom changed everyday. Staff
couldn't be more helpful and nice. For the excellent price we also
got breakfast consisting of coffee/tea and a lovely
croissant/omelett

Beautiful boutique hotel center of midtown close to all attractions. Well priced. Well maintained building. Rooms very clean and night time turn down was exceptional...my little daughter loved the chocolates on her pillow. Concierge provided great restaurant recommendations. Bell boys even stored our bikes that we brought with us on our trip.

The whole staff is so welcoming, courteous, smiling and attentive. The room was very comfortable, well decorated and spacious. This hotel was renovated very tastefully. It's a beautiful, elegant hotel that is quiet which is rare in New-York City. I loved the bathroom, the robes and towels were very soft and it was extremely clean. I will definitly be back, this is a gem.
