  Convenient location for travelers/tourists.There is no interior hallway leading to the rooms; your room opens to the exterior. That's not a negative, just a point of information.   It was a great outing just to get away. The rooms were comfortable just slightly tight with moving a chair it was good for us. The location was great to get to other places. We were given a different room because this site overbooked the hotel. The room we got was spacious and had a balcony, it also had a full size stove and kitchen area which would of been a plus if we were spending more then just one night. Close to Harrah's Casino in Cherokee.

  The service was awesome, staff was more than helpful and super friendly. The continental breakfast was great. My favorite thing was when I went to the desk to ask for extra coffee for the room there were 4 of us there and we are coffee drinkers! The clerk made us a fresh pot in the lobby!!   The room I stayed in was very comfortable. The location of the property was very easy to get to - perfect spot to stay to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Smoky Mountains National Park, Asheville, NC, etc. The outdoor gazebo and decks by the creek were excellent and provided privacy even though there were other guests in the area. Loved that it was next door to a wonderful restaurant called Hurley's. Had several great meals there. The welcome lodge is a great place to spend time in as well.
