I had already done a review, but wanted to add that for those who
can't get a cell phone signal, it's not the hotel's fault. I
discovered it's because the hotel sits down low in a valley and the
mountains or surrounding hills are blocking the signal.
When I drove up the road a few blocks, I had no problem getting
a cell phone signal. So you must u

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at the Palace Express in Lead, sd. Wish we
could have stayed longer. Beautiful rooms, friendly, helpful staff, 24-
hr. Coffee and juice available, continental breakfast, and very close to
all the sites we wanted to visit like Deadwood and Mount Rushmore!! No
joke: the rate was $35 a night!! Blew us away on how economical and
beautiful it was!!!! We were sorry to have to return to Wisconsin. There
is no value like this in our state. My husband and I have worked in t
