Location was excellent... On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner.
The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!

The Hotel was very good for me, I was not expecting the good surprise, considering that I made the booking in less than a week. I arrived at the hotel at 08h30am after travelling for 24h between flights and stopovers and I desperately needed a shower. The room was clean and looked very modern, The bathroom was amazing, it didn't have a bath tube but just a shower but still very modern and clean -
Staff were very helpful, they know the city like the back of there hand. If you want to do anything just as the staff. No bellboy which is brilliant for first time travellers to the states, no awkward moment when your not sure what to tip. Wifi in every room so when travellers that come from far away wake early in the morning because your time clock is all screwed up, you can go on the Internet and check out things to do in New York. I absolutely loved the Sanctuary & would return in a heartbeat! I
was travelling alone for business but it would be ideal as a couple or
for a special trip with friends. Service was above & beyond from the
moment I arrived - at 10pm tired & weary! The lovely doorman took my
case, took my name, the desk staff were then ready for me, super
efficient check in. I was accompanied to my room & everything
quickly explained & left to enjoy. I was sadly only there for 1

I had stayed there before and enjoyed the traditional atmosphere hugely. I was pleased to see it offered at a tbetter price than other hotels close by.manhattan is nonetheless very expensive - Loved the location, ambience, room!

Location was excellent. The apartment had new furnitures, and the kitchen was well equipped. We had a nice view from the 18th floor. I will defenitely recommend the place. We also had good service from management when the apartment was to varm, and they stored our luggage after check out. -

The hotel was very clean and fresh. It felt brand new from the modern wall covering in the lobbies and corridors to the furniture and fittings inside the rooms.

we enjoyed very much staying at the hotel: the suite was very comfortable and its size is not typical to ny hotels - much bigger.
the staff was super friendly and helpful (Alex & David!!!) and helped solving personal issues regarding our trip in the most efficient way.
The welcome greeting with the cookies was lovely and so the ice-cream and cookies treat on 4th july.
the location is great, the view from the upper floors is dreamy - and yes - we will come back to the double tree hilton-time
