The front staff are excellent. The location for everything can not be beat. The room was big and I like that there is a dresser to unpack my clothes and hangers to hang stuff up. They have done a great job restoring the building. The showers and
restrooms were always clean. The washers and dryers were brand new and
worked very well. The staff here are cool. Great place to stay. The area
doesn't bother me, but I was born and raised in San Francisco. Most
of the freaky people are on the other side of Mission Street.

This is my second stay in less than 6 months. You can't beat the price and the location. There is a parking garage right next door with super overnight rates. It was a no frills hotel but comfortable for the most part. The shower was great - roomy, plenty of hot water. Central location adjacent to parking lot, a few blocks from BART. The fridge worked well. Never tried the microwave.
