Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk). Breakfast - we saw many opinions about very poor breakfast here. In
comparison with other hotels|motels we stayed in during our road
trip this one was from the better ones. Missing fruit, vegetables
etc, but you could choose hot and cold etc. Breakfasts are generally
terrible in usa motels a 3-star hotels. W Based on reviews we
expected worse one here.
Several subway stations arevery close, grocery etc as well.

We loved the spacious room, the decoration of the room, the hotel, the
general design and clever use which was made of he space. Our room was
terrific and are grateful for the upgrade. We saw the Chrysler Building
from our bed ... very cool. The staff were adorable and extremely
helpful. And the old-timer car service was coolest of all ! The
proximity to the subway (one stop only from Grand Central !) and from
the ferry to dumbo and Wall Street make this a very good alternative to
highly priced

The staff was helpful and professional. The hotel was either newly built
or newly remodeled. The rooms and public areas were modern, clean and
had some "city style". The location was convenient to public
transportation (subway, train). The location was close to the person
were we were visiting. -

Excellent price, stayed 8 nights and saved $2000 compared with Manhattan. Room was enormous and comfortable. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Hotel amenities were superb with breakfast, free tea/coffee in lobby and coffee machine in room, cold water top ups, plenty of toiletries, free laundry facilities etc. -all superb.

Everything was fantastic. Staff were amazing big shout out to Valerie
and Justine especially. We were upgraded to a suite and it was superb. A
few mins walk to train station, took 10mins to get to Manhatten, and
some great pubs within 5mins walk. Felt safe walking the area at night
too. There was hot beverages on tap 24 hours a day and free. There was
even an ice machine and vending machines. Highly recommend the Verve and
was one of tbe best hotels ever

It is a perfect hotel located in a place where near to the most attractions in New York
Hotel very clean, the beds are comfortable, nice breakfast, clean bathroom and reception staffs help/qauid in everything ( attractions location, subway, resturants .... etc)
The hotel too close to the subway, it takes 3 min then max 10 to Manhattan
There is laundry, money exchange, supermarkets and some resturants near the hotel
Everything is good plus if you compare the price with 3 stars hotel in Manhatta

Great location. Beside subway station and just a 5min ride into
Manhattan. So handy. Easy to find if travelling from jfk. Area was safe
but not a lot to see around the hotel. There doesn't really need to

The location may not be the most attractive one in NYC but it is very convenient - fast transportation to the hotel from the JFK airport by subway; only few minutes subway ride to Manhattan. The subway station is so close to the hotel, that when you got off the station you can actually see the hotel right from there. The vicinity of the hotel seems to be quite safe and it was rather quiet in the night. We had very good view on Empire State building and Queensboro bridge from the hotel room. The
